Iran btw has some of the largest hfo fuelled power stations in the world. Check them out on wiki. Ian did not want to pursue contracts in these large HFO consuming regins such as China, Russia and Iran due to IP protection. However with Iran opening up, it may make more sense to pursue contracts there.

You might want to keep an eye on the technicals on CWR following today's RNS about Honda. Lots of cash in the bank and, like QFI, a couple of years away from commercial revenues which should make for some interesting trading if it holds the new lows and PI's pick it up again following the new Edison report.

Kreature - The Boss seemed to be worried about KSA contract signing details possibly intruding on his Xmas dinner - Hopefully he meant Xmas 2015 this time! - soon see

My favourite.....

4th Oct 2012
‘The scope is expected to encompass the first major refinery project, followed by a larger scale programme to process the bulk of the available heavy residue within KSA to MSAR®.’

If you read the website on MSAR:

the product works will with low oil prices (it enables a struggling oil company to maximise any profit it can from a barrel of petroleum). With high oil prices, the story is the same. Either way, MSAR seems a good idea.

Providing the story makes sense, and we're near the bottom of the global oil price, Quadrise share price really should be heading north soon

..you could argue, now that Iran has come out into the open, the oil price has reached the bottom in that Fracking has peaked, China has landed and Iran is out. The big three have all been done and its cold outside, not to mention a rise in the number of cars being sold. This might not be the bottom of the market but it might be the start of the bottom of the market ...

TradeYodha.....he know nothing. ... :) Oil companies are working years ahead. . This blip in the oil price will soon be a memory. .and their plans are way beyond it. ..and Quadrise as pointed out makes sound financial sense regardless of the oil price. ..At very low capex reqs. ..

The lower the cost of fuel the more need oil companies have of
Quadrise.
Really, as the price of oil drops, quadrise should rise.
The fall in the price of quadrise share price is probably due to day traders not understanding that Quadrise is a process that CUTS COSTS (something oil companies are going to need to do to stay in profit).

You want more bang for your bucks - that will be Quadrise.

Oil at $10 is ridiculous, that's not to say it wouldn't happen but is unsustainable. Why would the Saudis or Maersk ditch something like MSAR that cost them peanuts and saves them so much. Cancelling drilling and exploration is one thing. Cancelling money saving projects is quite another.

Spread based or not. The truth is all oil based projects have been either postponed or cancelled. Everything is coming to a halt for now. Oil related companies are firing their staff in thousands every month. It is getting worse every day for all of them. QFI is dependent on such companies directly or indirectly. If those companies are in turmoil then what will be their priority? QFI or themselves first? QFI spread thing comes into equation only after those projects are completed and also on time.
