03/5/2024 14:34 | On for one million shares traded on a Friday before a May Bank holiday with a 10% rising share price. Not bad? | gareth jones
03/5/2024 13:42 | US Payrolls missed, rate cut probability increased, indices rally. | mirabeau
03/5/2024 13:28 | No doubt about it. America are buying in having been left out earlier in the day. | dominiccummings
03/5/2024 12:49 | I must say Harry that it's worth holding OXB just to get an education on what's going on in the pharmacy sector. Keep up the good work! | ygor705
03/5/2024 12:41 | We now have a high quality problem on our hands. I liken the recent movement in the share price to starting a very big fire at a tyre factory viz it is very visible and will attract attention from miles around. This could push the spike here quite high but it will then be interesting to see if a sudden fall sucks in more buyers. I seem to remember comment that shares were being issued at c.£4 at the time of the French acquisition: perhaps that a good starting point for genuine current share price value. | ygor705
03/5/2024 12:32 | I have no idea what is going on either, but it does remind me of a time when buying a few SCI at 270p, seeing them go to 330p. It was an illiquid stock and when a forced seller appeared, the MM's walked the price down to <50p. Once the seller dumped the final tranche, the price moved upwards rapidly almost hitting 700p. | strapittoyourankle
03/5/2024 12:28 | i would like to thank Harry for his posts.i am now back in profit having been looking at a big loss. Without those well informed posts i probably would have lost the faith. | edwardt
03/5/2024 11:56 | Is there more to this than a lovely set of results - if this was always worth 4-5 on worst case Harry, why did it ever get so low...I find this whole episode very odd. Perhaps it is simply the RR type scenario when the market gets too down on a great business? back into an auction - unbelievable :) | takeiteasy
03/5/2024 11:54 | Wowza.... looking great.:) | kumala
03/5/2024 11:27 | There has being a lot of pain watching the decline of OXB price over the last while. My smile is widening by the minute... think we are all entitled to some sunshine . Enjoy | connello
03/5/2024 11:18 | After the half year results, IM bought aggressively as part of their stated aim to get to 10% and that took the price rapidly to £3. As we know, they may not actually need to buy any more in the market to get to 10% once the EUR20m shares are issued later in the year. It could be, if they are not currently inside on anything, that they have taken the view to aim to go beyond 10%? They were very clear before on their aims, but I don't think they'd need to announce any change to that in advance? | cousinit
03/5/2024 11:16 | Well done all 🍒🍒 | linton5

03/5/2024 10:50 | AlliancePharma [APH] has an impressive record of long-term growth & creating sustainable value for our shareholders & stakeholders-DIVIDEN | blackhorse23
03/5/2024 10:36 | I think we're all assuming OXB does the one step back at some point, but so far on the Friday of a bank holiday weekend when I'd normally expect a slow day - no sign of it. FTSE quarterly review is the end of this month. 580p+ would be back in the FT250 and all sins forgiven. I honestly wasn't expecting that so soon after the results, but similarly if it did happen by some circumstance of events (like whatever is causing this movement and / or the insiders not buying) then it wouldn't surprise me either. | harry s truman
03/5/2024 10:27 | I bet that DB note's been circulating for a few weeks, no wonder the price took off mid-April | mirabeau
03/5/2024 10:24 | They want their clients to get in first :) | takeiteasy
03/5/2024 09:46 | SMALL CAP ---------- Deutsche Bank initiates Oxford BioMedica with ’hold’ - target 250 pence ---------- Well that's helpful. Best not mention the war eh? | harry s truman
03/5/2024 09:42 | 120k print | mirabeau
03/5/2024 09:38 | Two observations here:- 1) Over 120k shares traded in the first hour of what in the UK is effectively the first holiday weekend of the season. 2) As mentioned on here previously:- After explaining all the reasons why this is an unprecedented buying opportunity, and also voluntarily scaling back their own options to avoid windfall accusations, in what should be an open period immediately following the results, not a single insider (or spouse) has bought a share. History tells us that even during very poor years, somebody would always buy some - even if it was a token amount - the rare exceptions being when they couldn't because of something they knew about which kept them in a closed period. "Just" another contract win, when with most of those they tell us very little about? I honestly don't think that would stop them. Something much bigger / more significant? | harry s truman
03/5/2024 09:36 | If you want to do chart comparatives,i would suggest you look at Moderna.OXB has doubled since mid November and,hey presto,so has Moderna!!I quite like charts (what's to dislike) but ,unfairly perhaps,i feel there's something of the 'horoscope' about them. However, since algorithm trading is often primed with an eye to technical analysis, one has to be aware that a large degree of trust is placed in charts and lets face, looking at pictures beats the hard work involved in analysing the fundamentals every time! | steeplejack
03/5/2024 09:09 | There is still some way to go before it gets into 350/250 territory. Somewhere around the 550p mark currently needed, I think. An upgrade at the next tu, which looks quite possible, might do it. | boadicea
03/5/2024 08:24 | This is not cooling but strengthening Someone's bidding up for stock..is it ABL Europe? | mirabeau
03/5/2024 08:14 | Needs to cool off, take the heat out of it, so that I may buy some more...:) | mirabeau |
