08/2/2017 11:47 | As far as I can make out, this is no longer an issue as Ortac do not use the cyanide leaching process any more. But perhaps someone else could confirm that. | vatnabrekk
07/2/2017 23:37 | Did they fully resolve problem with cyanide leaching or is this no longer a problem now the boundaries have been redrawn ? | italione
07/2/2017 23:19 | The problem in Slovakia is that Ortac are not actually a party in the dispute. So they just have to sit and wait and hope that it will get sorted out. And although there is no longer any logical reason why the permit should be with-held, getting someone to actually sign it and issue it is an entirely different kettle of fish! | vatnabrekk
05/2/2017 16:47 | Sense will finally prevail in Slovakia. In the meantime, there are quite a few other developments I expect to be RNS'd in the not so distant future. Hang in there. | kiwimonk
05/2/2017 16:26 | Richgit; good post. Just shows there is no logic to the Slovak governing system and judiciary. I recall Kremnica was explored by Ortac because the licence has previously been a mine. What more bloody precedent do you want! It's not as if they're proposing to rip up virgin green belt so to speak. I live in a village with 2 decent sized quarries about 1/2 a mile away. Not an issue and pragmatism amongst locals that they create jobs and support local village shops etc. | highly geared
05/2/2017 15:54 | I know i'm stating the bleeding obvious, but buy low(.20)and sell on ANY spike, rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat...rinse a....... And if there is anything resembling a positive rns news report, treat it with suspicion that there is a fundraising in the offering.... | grannyboy
02/2/2017 10:51 | Vatnabrekk - given ortac's track record, it is probably a blessing they have no control!! | wooster4
01/2/2017 16:31 | Trouble is, Ortac are not in control of their own destiny at any of their sites or investments. | vatnabrekk
31/1/2017 20:00 | With gold/ silver/ commodities on the rise again ,OTC's investment assets come strongly back into play. OTC remains significantly undervalued ex Kremnica | highly geared

24/1/2017 21:30 | Interesting non exec appointment. Why would a guy with his CV take a board role on lowly £2 million micro cap OTC? | highly geared
20/1/2017 12:40 | Looks like this could have another spike very soon - gut feeling | supercity

12/1/2017 20:28 | I agree. The excuse has now been removed. | italione
12/1/2017 14:35 | I am no legal expert, yet if the boundary of the KMLA no longer includes the Town of Kremnica then what can the local anti mine elite now argue against when this amendement suggests an accepted legality that the Mine cannot at any point gradually encroach upon the Town !! Management suggest that this revision would not affect operations of the mine as the Gold resources lie within the newly agreed boundaries. Seems they are closer to all arguments being resolved. One thing is for sure - Once they eventually get the go ahead someone is going to suddenly appear with the money- one way or another- as it remains FACT that most Major producers are facing a 10 year Vacuum of lost resources,as gold production now starts its decline. Interesting times ahead. | richgit
30/12/2016 10:09 | Tipped to go bust. | greenrichard

14/12/2016 14:55 | Think we may have picked the right company albeit at the wrong time with this one. Macro situation looks against us for six months at least. Bunker down and come back mid 2017. | keya5000 |
