Ortac Resources* (OTC LN) 2.5p, Mkt Cap 8.3m – Name change to Arc Minerals

(new ticker ARC LN) (Ortac an effective 49.9% stake in the Akyanga project)

Ortac Resources has announced that it is changing its name, with immediate effect, to Arc Minerals which will now trade under the ticker ARCM LN.

Over the recent past, Ortac has identified a clear, African focussed, strategy and brought in experienced management with relevant expertise to reflect the shift in emphasis away from its previous Slovakian focus.

Commenting on the change, Executive Chairman, Nick von Schirnding said “The renaming of the group to Arc Minerals represents an exciting new chapter for us. This follows a number of material changes that have been implemented over the past few months including executing a clear strategy focusing on our high quality African exploration assets”.

Recent drilling at Akyanga (part of Missisi) appears to be extending the footprint of the known mineralisation in the DRC leading to better definition and expansion of the gold resource.

Zamsort: in Zambia, the company is “now actively pursuing discussions with fellow stakeholders at Zamsort, which is an attractive Zambian copper/cobalt asset.”

Conclusion: The change of name comes as the company moves towards a new phase focussed on its African projects.

*SP Angel acts as nomad and broker to Ortac Resources. Ortac holds 84.7% of CASA Mining which holds 71.25% of the Misisi Gold project in South Kivu in the Eastern part of the DRC. This gives Ortac an effective 49.9% stake in the Akyanga project. Ortac also holds a 14% stake in Zamsort which rises to 19.35% on conversion of a 8% Secured Convertible Loan notes which are convertible at Ortac’s option.

Agree maverick247 the sellers will soon get exhausted [indeed this has most likely already happened] at OTC

CASA MINING [and perhaps ZAMSORT?] will absolutely transform OTC with the OTC share price going to at least 10p to 15p

CASA MINING's project in the DRC will be an absolute ELEPHANT i.e. very big!

Perhaps 8 to 12 million ounces!

My own predictions of what is coming have been sorely delayed, but then only because World debt is accelerating towards a brick wall, and all Major currency
only offers an IOU of soaring debt as its so called asset .

Only due to the incredulous fraud and manipulation of fools Gold/Paper Comex Casino
Paper Gold & Silver

Imagine the response -when your Bank Manager asks what is your asset to support the loan you want and you answer "Unpayable debt "

Remember the very words of the CME Boss Man "Gold should probably be $5600 now !!"

Then imagine if the most oppressed and suppressed sentiment in History towards
Gold & Silver stocks starts to change.

Whilst it may not be the best illustration of sentiment- just look back to the
dot-com days of Baltimore which went from so little to ending up in the FTSE 100.

Some would rightly argue "But Baltimore ended up virtually bust"

Yes-but what an incredible ride that made many multi-millionaies.

What could happen for some stocks like OTC that at least will be involved
with the World`s only true Money ,that the likes of Balitmore never had!?

Only those that know what is truly going on with Gold will understand the point
of what OTC could achieve with a stock price at multiples of Today, and Investors
supporting and fighting over fund raising (speculate to accumulate) in a scenario
where many Majors are running out of resources.

Patience and foresight with a spread of risks.

IMHO

As a larger CASA MINING shareholder 1savvyinvestor your post above is indeed spot on - i actually have already bought more Casa Mining [obviously now via OTC] via the recent placing.

IMHO some of the placees [who were not Casa Mining shareholders] have been selling out for a quick buck or two whilst like you i would prefer to hang around for the very big long term profits which means an OTC share price north of 10p

Yes STIGGY you are spot on with OTC

Know the guys - reckon that the CASA MINING project in the DRC could well be an absolute monster - 10m to 15m ounces of Gold!!!!

OTC will seriously MULTI BAG on the back of all of this!

Sturec - they were having a meeting with JV partner and lawyers Friday ahead of making a legally binding agreement. Still a flagship project considering the resource. Trial mining to commence this month. They are waiting for 18 days to pass from mining permit issuance before it is effective to get started. Will need the JV deal to be legally binding first. Once trial mining starts the JV partnership will then asses the best way forward and terms. Things have been progressing but bieng kept low key as the local NGO has been using OTC transparency to cause problems with local people. VC notes that the NGO has been quiet of late......also VC said it's abysmal behaviour by NGO as their members are well off and been trying to block the project which would create many jobs for local people who only earn on average 250 euros a month if they have a job. OTC licence area originally included the town so a lot of fear monger were saying OTC are going to crush the town for the project. OTC would never have done this and so have removed the town from the licence area and handed back to state. Many locals didn't know that the mine plan was 1km away from the town. The introduction of a local Slovakian mining company and revision of licence area are all to help locals understand the project is not at their expense and improve relations.

CASA, i asked about valuation and trouble with local tribes. In terms of value he said look at Amani mining listed in tsx. $50m cap with jorc 1.5m oz at 1.55g/t. They do have another higher grade project they are developing however. VC did say you need a gold project north of 2g/t to be a good project here. Amani also have 55%. In terms of local people he said CASA have been there a while and the government is very strong and backing of the mining community. They have local people on the books and have been free of any trouble and local 'militia' not seen as a problem currently. Drill program to start in a week or two and will last approx 3 months for this phase. CASA have interest from majors and have recently received buy out offers.

Zamsort has a huge potential. They are in between two well developed domes so essentially own the last underexplored licence area. Majors are and continue to be very interested in Zamsort. They are on the other side of the dome from Kirwani. The copper company that Colin bird sold for $260m two years after acquiring for $2m. Zamsort don't want to dilute and want debt finance to complete and commission the plant. They are trying to use the stockpile as collateral. The stockpile has not been processed as Zamsort only receive credits for copper which is worth around $5-6m. They don't want to send it off for processing because there is around $6m worth of cobalt in the stockpile too! Which would go straight into the pockets of the people processing the stockpile. Zamsort have come very close to completing Debt finance twice. Nick has joined Zamsort board from OTC to help them realise this target. Or even work a situation whereby OTC may help them with this but not as a loan. 'OTC are not bank' VC said. Current guidance is Zamsort are expecting to sort the finance by end of August. This is going to be a fantastic asset and one I love!

Andiamo - drill results due this month. They feel they have a Bisha mine type deposit that they need to drill up. Bisha is extremely profitable and owned by local government after buying out the previous owner. The deal is to prove up and sell for $100's millions

Which by the way is Zamsort target. They want to provide proof of concept with the plant and output and sell for $100's millions. Hence they don't want dilution

CASA must be worth £15m to OTC. Good drill results and much higher. Sturec must have a £5m value with permit issued. As decisions are made on developing the asset then much higher. $1bn project. Zamsort depends on your view. If this finance is sorted and production in a few months this would be worth £5-10m to OTC. Andiamo let's wait and see.

£25m cap on these projects as it stands for me.

Today's price doesn't even reflect CASA
