14/10/2016 17:32 | +0.3%. YTD +19.3%. 13C after 8.4C. Cool damp start dried out gradually but never really warmed despite the sun showing up late on. Have a good weekend if the rain will stop. | aleman
14/10/2016 17:22 | Well that was a surprise with two lots falling, but luckily the right one gained this week! The SIPP managed +0.67% on the week and is now at another all time high and +13.34% YTD. Fallers on the week were pot -0.51% & Virgin ISA -0.92% taking them to +4.49% and +3.45% YTD I have to admit the managed funds performed well this week but I also had a bit of luck on some of my top-ups. Weather not looking great and lots of things to do so we'll have to see how we get on. Enjoy your weekends. MrP | mrphil

14/10/2016 09:08 | 3/7 for me too. Enjoy Suffolk Skinny, we love Woodbridge which is where a lot of my ancestors hail from apparently. And enjoy Annie's song and all that! | mrphil
14/10/2016 09:00 | Good Morning. Off to Suffolk later for a John Denver night tomorrow - should be "interesting"!! 3/7. | skinny
14/10/2016 08:39 | Update on the DX. saga. Had a sensible meeting with the regional manager and he fully understood where I was coming from and sincerely apologised for his credit manager's poor customer handling! The original problems seem to have been caused by the fact we were originally a Nightfreight customer and only recently got transferred to the DX system at which point our payment terms changed to weekly. It seems all new DX customers have to abide by those terms but of course we aren't a new customer! However, it looks like we have ironed out the problems and should now be able to get on with life. Got the feeling they are generally making a huge effort to turn things around, so my DX. shares are safe for a while longer! | mrphil
14/10/2016 08:06 | Morning All. Aleman, I'm already sick of the rain and we haven't really had much here. Need to give the boat a run this weekend as it won't be moving for at least the following two while we are away. Rain seems to feature on the forecast. | mrphil
14/10/2016 07:52 | Another wet start, although not chilly this morning. Beginning to get sick of rain after 6 consecutive damp days. | aleman
13/10/2016 16:59 | My SIPP finished down 0.46% Grey here today with a high @13°C. | skinny
13/10/2016 16:57 | Well lay lady lay! Glad of my recent UU. top up which helped secure a tiny +0.03% gain for the SIPP today with NG. & INTU also helping out. Not so good for the pot which fell -0.31% due to LGEN, LLOY & SGC Not such a bright day today although a few spells of sunshine here and there. Clash between Apprentice & The Fall tonight and also Paranoid which we haven't had a chance to check out yet. | mrphil
13/10/2016 16:54 | -0.5%. Mostly grey and wet. The briefest of sunny spells saw us reach only 12.7C after 7.1C last night. | aleman
13/10/2016 10:57 | Timne for :- | skinny
13/10/2016 10:26 | DX. fans will be pleased to hear they have been in touch and the Regional Manager is coming to see me! | mrphil

13/10/2016 09:24 | Morning All. Didn't notice any empty shelves at TSCO, but maybe we weren't looking for any Unilever products. I applaud their efforts to control prices for their customers, but what are suppliers supposed to do if their profits are getting wiped out? If I ignore the current fall in the pound, we would make a loss this year without doubt. Enjoyed the first episode of Missing last night, sowed a few seeds for future episodes. Pleased to see my recently topped up UU. are fighting hard against the fallers this morning. | mrphil
13/10/2016 09:22 | Good Morning. My SIPP finished down 0.18%. Both down 2.2%. | skinny
13/10/2016 07:43 | And £ down again. $1.216. Euro 1.104 | aleman
12/10/2016 17:03 | Tomato going pink, have started to take the plant undercover at night. | freddie ferret
12/10/2016 16:59 | Reversal of yesterday with almost the same movers, SIPP -0.52% SPD, LLOY & GSK and the pot -0.79% AMD, RR. & LLOY Just had the two new tyres fitted. Persuaded Halford's to match the lowest price so got both fitted for £340 all in. Been lovely and sunny one minute, rain the next (none forecast) so a strange old day. Start of The Missing tonight after a trip to TSCO to use up the next voucher. | mrphil
12/10/2016 16:53 | Stronger £ overnight took my lot down 0.8%, although the £ already starting to drift again slightly. Grey day and drizzly earlier. 13.8C after 8.3C. | aleman
12/10/2016 09:57 | Encouraging trading update from TEF this morning, with talk of an increased dividend! | mrphil |
