Skinny, I could do with more of those printed hair folicles each time they cut my hair, I'm sure the barren area is growing!

ZMNO :-(

Aleman, are you going to hang on and see what an acquisition might bring?

Morning All.

3/7 for me this week too, and I knew the answer to one of those!

Watched this week's DCI Banks last night, not what I expected!

Read an article in the papers over the weekend, people buying bonds with a negative yield in the hope the price will rise. Must be better ways of making a living?

Looks like yesterday's gains (and more) will be lost today?

Folio +0.59% today.

Highest value risers : SDV +4.7%, BLT +6.5%, BP. +4.3%, SIV +3.9%, ASY +4.5%, BRWM +2.8%.

Worst value fallers : HSD -2.1%[xd], IHC -3.2%, GVC -1.2%, IRV -2.2%.

IRV knocked down by Capita warning I assume. Shaved 20% off my PHNX holding in order to take up my rights and keep ISA weightings in balance.

A more pleasant day, though W wind gusting to 22mph.

I'm up +0.605% on the day today (FTSE100 +1.023%).

Best rises: RDSB +6.67%, BLT +6.47% and BP. +4.34%.

Worst falls: TW. -2.44%, WMH -2.40% and AZN -1.87%.

Gedrman banks causing problems, with Commerzbank now in trouble. The oil price rise has helped. I'm behind the market because I am less heavy in oils and miners. RIO has gone up a lot in my weight rankings. Likewise RDSB, BP. and BLT, not foregetting S32.

+15°C first think, cloudy with drizzle. Went our for a haircut in preparation for our cruise next week. Rain stopped late morning and we did see some sun after lunch, taken at the Jack & Jill, Clayton.

Only fell to 15.2°C during the rain last night after 20.4°C yesterday but not sure we matched that today.

Ended at the lowest for the day but still did OK with the SIPP managing +0.76% thanks to BP., SSE & BRCI and +0.27% for the pot mainly due to RDSB with a little help from SGC & FFY.

Return of The Fall this evening. Pretty dark but very good last time.

+0.7%. SIV looking perky again ahead of Tuesday's results.

18.0C after 11.7C. Had a lot of weather today. If you didn't like it, all you had to do was wait a minute and something different would blow in. Some good sunny patches more recently.

A bit of rain first thing, followed by cloud and a breeze @19°C.

I've been toying with increasing my small holding in WJG, but it looks like I may have missed the boat for now.

I'll probably take up the rights on both BBOX & PHNX.

Wet and miserable all morning but the clouds cleared at lunchtime and it's now quite pleasant and around 19°C with a bit of a breeze.

20mph gusting to 40mph+ now forecasted until tea time by the met office. :-)

Surprisingly warm outside in the sun, though. And it's become very warm in the house.

I checked the Met office website last night and our forecast was dry and bright with wind easing to single figs - similar to last couple of days but cooler. I've just seen the lombardy poplars blow to an unhealthy looking angle that made me cringe. We're getting about 15-25mph and that gust must have been pushing 50mph as it seems to be growing increasingly turbulent. Just had a quick shower for good measure.

Mozy - they are actually from Waitrose, but I thought the Morrisons bag was less pretentious! :-)
