I don't hold any MSN shares (sold out and currently in QMOT), but it does seem it's going to go north again, might wobble a little first, but on overall it's up.

Sorry to keep referring to NewLook but this had a similar set back and is now rising again, up 11p today.
I rebought into NEW when it bottomed out, but obviously trading is good, figures coming out soon which the market seems to have got wind of.
Wouldn't be surprised to see MSN follow it back northwards soon - probably bottomed now and good chance to buy.

More selling today. No doubt profit takers and jumpers before the XD. It is holding up very well though so there`s obvious pressure under the price.

I suspect these type of stocks are going thru a breather stage after good rises.

New Look has fallen significantly, MSN follows similar trend but has not fallen as badly.

A period of consolidation before starting to rise again looks on the cards to me.

I'll join you on the thread to save you being too lonely.
Have bought into MSN after great result with Newlook which also seems to be going from strength of strength.

Bit concerned about buying in a bit late but I'd sooner have a riser than a faller.

Did the same with IDM which fell after I bought it, after a great rise, but it's recovered and well inprofit now.

Hope MSN turns out to be a good purchase.

I didn't buy NEW since the wife and three daughters didn't think much of the prices they were asking for their clothes - obviously others thought differently and I missed out.

I bought MSN at 58p and 62p so Me is a happy bunny. I do not see why it can't get up to at least the same rating as NEW so that means that it has plenty of upside yet. £2-00 is an easy target, in Me's view, and probably more after that. It has been £2-00 before.

I just sold out on this one (one of the premature profit takers I'm afraid) - expecting them to go back to their historical PE of 10 ish- in which case I may go back in.
My reasoning is that not much has changed within monsoon itself....

A bout of premature profit taking today - hardly surprising. It didn't move the price down - very good news.

There should be still plenty of upside - perhaps up to £2-00 (but if Me knew for sure Me would have my shirt on it, not 6% of my portfolio), however not as much as there was when Me bought at 58p and 62p! You will need to consider if there will be a reaction back following the recent surge in price before the price continues upwards - the price has broken the ceiling of the rising channel, as you noted I am sure. JCKS and NHP are in a similar position.

RSI 70% is overbought and 30% oversold - that is the theory anyway.

MSN is not a competitor of NEW!

If you want something nearer the bottom and going up try TNL.

ref post 103 - what does RSI mean and what indicates RSI overbought?

Is this stock following NEW Look which is doing extremely well?

Is it worth investing in MSN or have I missed the boat?

The P/E ratio is still only about half that of next so there is plenty of upside yet even if there is some premature profit taking.
