28/11/2016 14:34 | Not sure superted except that I don't think they'd announce it if there was any risk of it not going ahead | budgetbond
28/11/2016 14:26 | Granted may be the case .But are there any legal requirements for them to announce so early before it's officially confirmed | supertedsmith
28/11/2016 13:45 | Perhaps it has something to do with the restructuring, they may announce the new share structure in December. | beggarman
28/11/2016 13:30 | But why announce before signed or officially announced ? | supertedsmith
28/11/2016 12:49 | super, my view is they've announced it because it's already been organised and they're now just going through the process with the paperwork. If there's a merger with Dome Energy, I suspect thats a done deal already too | budgetbond
28/11/2016 12:31 | Judy curious why they announced it Nothing concrete yet in terms of announcements .It sure wasn't to do with pacifying shareholders -Any guesses anyone | supertedsmith
28/11/2016 12:12 | Ted, let's wait and see. It would be nothing short of a most welcome miracle if they did relist and all us long suffering share holders could sell up and move on. Who knows what goes on with this lot? They are full of unpleasant tricks imho of course. | doxford
28/11/2016 11:54 | Curious Why did they announce plans for Swedish share listing so far ahead and more importantly before anything concrete had happened .They didn't need to so why ? | supertedsmith
25/11/2016 13:43 | budget - Yes, the closest is Range Ventures on 17.4%. | beggarman
25/11/2016 09:29 | beggar, that's a great piece of research - maybe we're starting to see how this deal is going to unfold. At 23% shareholding, does that make Mangold the biggest shareholder? | budgetbond
25/11/2016 06:58 | beggar, you mentioned this week about the reports earlier this year that the banker had been playing hardball (I think they came from calmtrader originally). I suspect they may have been close to a deal back in May when the share price was SEK2.5 but then rose to SEK3.3 by the beginning of June which could have stalled the deal. However, the share price is now at SEK1.1 which is 80% lower than it was 12 months ago and that may be why the deal is now back on - difficult to play hardball from that position | budgetbond
24/11/2016 23:46 | 100egs - They own 23% of Dome Energy, they are the largest shareholder. That's what started me thinking there may be a deal between Dome and Matra. | beggarman
24/11/2016 17:33 | Mangold fondkommission also advising dome energy. | 100egs
23/11/2016 10:08 | I'd be very interested to know Maxim's thoughts on what would be deemed an acceptable premium for the existing shareholders to compensate for having been locked out for three years - I'm sure the other existing major investors will have a view on that. I take your point, calm, on it being a balancing act - and I completely agree | budgetbond
22/11/2016 19:20 | I think there are two issues with relisting, firstly how much money are they proposing to raise and if they were to merge with Dome how would they price them. Dome currently has a market cap of around £5.5m but they have assets worth around £40m, this could have been what Vlad was referring to when he said the target company's banker is playing hard-ball. Barskiy may have offered 6% of the shares when they were expecting 30%. | beggarman
22/11/2016 18:28 | They have to be careful not to overprice themselves as people have been locked in for 3 years so it's a balancing act to get a good value listing and also attract new investors..I don't think it will happen in Jan more likely Feb or march | calmtrader
22/11/2016 18:16 | And with Dome, possibly close to Tethys? | budgetbond
22/11/2016 16:23 | budget i'd like to think so | calmtrader
22/11/2016 16:19 | So you think Matra would be the roughly on par with Shamaran Pets - with its current reserves and no merger with Dome? | budgetbond
22/11/2016 13:54 | I have just been looking at other oil& Gas companies that are listed on the SEK NASDAQ to try and get a sense of Matra likely market cap..there aren't that many of them and they aren't doing very well...so my feeling is this should help Matra as they have a robust drilling and decent reserves ..Here's the ones I found: (SEK Mkt Cap(Mil) Enquest 2,479 Tethys 2,241 Shamaran Pets 953 Maha Energy 477 Wentworth Resources 433 Misen Energy 350 Panoro Energy 208 | calmtrader
21/11/2016 17:47 | Trump could be Opec's 'new best friend' acting as an unwitting buddy to rebalance the oil market. If he tears up America's nuclear agreement with Iran and restores sanctions on the sale of Iranian oil, he would remove almost a million barrels of oil a day of supply at a stroke and cause a recovery in oil prices. As luck would have it, that daily million barrels is about the same size as the cut Opec's needs to make. Just as Matra relists - now that would be interesting. | budgetbond
21/11/2016 15:07 | budget - I'm just keeping my eye on Dome Energy at the moment, they may be the key to this. They already have an office in Stockholm plus the listing. | beggarman
21/11/2016 14:38 | beggar, what are your latest thoughts on how this might pan out? | budgetbond
21/11/2016 14:20 | The general public own 43.85% of Matra plc but if you look at Matra USA this equates to 43.85% of 33.6%, which is equal to 14.73% overall. I take it that if they merged with a company already listed in Stockholm then no problem. | beggarman
21/11/2016 13:16 | Usually takes 3-6 months but can be fast tracked in 6 weeks for well prepared company's. Do you know what the % of shares are held by the general public, I believe it has to be at least 25% to list | harry136 |
