Lol. Gkp made me a small fortune Terry. So will this one. If kandyman has bought in on what people on bulletin boards think then he's a fool, simple.

Kandyman,It's all about timing and exit strategy.I was an investor in GKP in credit crisis days. Started buying at 6.8p when there was fear all around markets after Lehman collapse. But Hoil's Miran discovery really awakened me to the potential at GKP. A couple of years later I sold around £2. It was my best investment, even better than Encore oil.Every single stock out there has its own characteristics and activity/newsflow - so you need to develop a timeline and exit strategy. Holding indefinitely rarely pays off with AIM stocks. Something tells me hurricane will be different but I still have a clear plan to reduce some after £.Just something to think about.Cash

Hi Kandyman1,

Lancaster - not including the next two drill results expected to hold at least about 300 million barrels, but rumoured that it could be more. New CPR out early next year.

Taking the Greater Lancaster area, Lincoln could add up to 150 - 250 million and around the same for Halifax if they're successful. Outside of the greater Lancaster area Whirlwind has around 250 Million but has gas too.

There's also Warwick, Typhoon etc

Lancaster oil top quality 38 API, next to no water cut. Pressure Index 'one of the best in the world' PI = 147

Flow rates from Lancaster flows 6500 natural flow but with pump 14500.
Aim is for EPS to produce 20000 b/day from just 2 wells to start and then full field development later, but who knows if the next 2 wells come in.

Hurricane also own 100% of their licences.

Suggest you read it all in detail yourself at the company website, this is just a flavour but lacks detail.

Hope that helps

A fool and his money are easily parted. Never a truer word spoken in your case kandyman. You're better off down the bookies with your temperament. You get better odds aswell.

Kandyman1. Have a read through annual reports and RNS's and you will have lots of info to be able to inform your decisions.I doubt anyone here is authorised to provide financial advice.Asking people here for a view is a little blindsided as we all believe we are going to make money so we may have rose tinted spectacles.Oil / reserves on takeover I'd budget in 3 usd per barrel as a starter. Multibagger, depends on your view. Oil exploration is high risk and you nee to weigh that up with reward, so those here believe that is one worth taking.Whilst the reserves and reports are positive, one bad drill result and future funding becomes harder, two bad results in a row and take your guess over how easy future funding will be....I'm invested here as I like the risk reward play with a timeline of end 2019 to see a decent reward. I think we will have Jo's and downs between now and then.Hope above is not condescending, it's not meant to be.

Most AIM stocks are a gamble, in this case, on the geology. You have to pick the right horse and you've got a way better chance if you manage to spot a thoroughbred.

Here's hoping as I will be packing in work if this comes in as speculated...

Hi Cash,

Indeed. Shame we had the rug pulled from under our feet when we couldn't progress with the gas storage, but it turned out quite well.

We'd also get a nice tail wind if the OPEC meeting was even slightly positive. Not holding my breath on that one, but hopeful.

Everything considered, a market capitalisation of £500m doesn't seem a bad entry point.

I have a lot more reading to do, but it's something I enjoy when the company concerned has world class assets.

Here's an interesting interview about what's next for the oil price - this analyst is basically predicting a $40 to $50 price for the foreseeable future

"come out firing all guns blazing!"

Yup, just like Butch and Sundance! Hang on, that didn't work out to well for them.

Just like Rorke’s Drift! Er that didn't pan out to well either.

Give us a minute will you.......;-)

I'm well invested in Hur but my opinion kandyman that's just plain nuts what you are doing.

No offence intended but if this goes under your out the game. I hope you make money but what your doing is an out and out gamble.
