21/11/2016 12:08 | I must admit the share price performance is a bit disappointing given Friday's news and expectations for Lincoln . Are we ever going to clear 40p ? | talkman2
21/11/2016 11:57 | Notwithstanding Lancaster alone should underwrite current share price if not more. Who is selling these now I want to know? Is the CoS so small on prospects? | adam
21/11/2016 11:49 | Taudelta,Quite plausible. I hope it plays out along those lines. Hurricanes strength is its geological expertise in this play and it should keep to it, exploring appraising and selling each field, while paying out dividends to shareholders.Cash | cashandcard
21/11/2016 11:46 | yeah, plausable.. or, hur develop lancaster to eps 20k bopd, by which time lincoln and halifax will have been drilled, and hopefully prove to be analogous to lancaster, hur then sell the GLA (lancaster, lincoln and halifax) for ~$2b and give half back to shareholders as special divi. and then continue drilling warcik, typhoon whirlwind and strathmore, and with the $1b left post divi, buy more permits to repeat as with lancaster/gla, and thus have plenty of cash to negate the need for any further dilution.... ? :-) | leeson31
21/11/2016 11:15 | just 9 sessions ago the share price was had a 32 handle, its been a 40 handle today, i think thats good progress, and were getting progressive good news, with lots to look forward to... | leeson31
21/11/2016 10:18 | The Friday afternoon news predictably got largely lost. Well, having had a long hard look at this company in my oil analyst professional capacity immediately after it was floated, I suggested that my best guess was that the company was likely to have a couple of billion barrels recoverable. I have held my shares (bought when I no longer had information that was not in the public domain) through hell and high water and have not really changed that view until now. In the wake of all the recent news I can now say that I probably erred on the conservative side. I would now be surprised if this play, with the new acreage, is as low as 2 billion barrels. Of course, it will take years before official numbers get up to this figure and in the meantime Hurricane is probably going to be taken out and there will inevitably be dilution. But if you want a stock that has deep integral value as a long term investment and doesn't need to be watched too closely, it's hard to think of anything better. IMHO the stock is better value now than it was when it was 10p. Circumstances have changed in a material way and the price move certainly doesn't reflect this. I would be astonished if HUR doesn't multibag from here but have no idea of a time-frame. | hiddendepths
21/11/2016 09:38 | Interesting morning, massive volumes have gone through and a gentle uptick. Clearly there is a lot of recycling of stale holders happening which bodes well for a tighter base assuming we get some positive news in the coming weeks? | davidblack
20/11/2016 22:20 | So, the media coverage starts as expected after the recent fund raise. It's going to be interesting how much ink we'll start to get now that the right parties have a slice of the action. Hopefully Lincoln and Halifax reward the faith of LTHs and the board, Trice isn't hanging about now. Imo that productivity Index points to a field much larger than most peoples expectations, only the drill bit will give us the answers. GLA | prefab

20/11/2016 19:11 | Thanks Laser | gibso6767
20/11/2016 19:02 | gibso you were asking about scalloway port some time ago,or was it Kirkwall? TEEKAY petrojarl had a contract don't know what date but they moved new anchors from Aberdeen Daroja was about today on the map today moving cargo from Aberdeen hence the above cropped up | laserdisc
20/11/2016 18:53 | Its common for oil companies to name oilfields in theme. For example, shell name alot of their fields after birds. Encore oil used to name it's fields after motorbikes etc.I like it, indicates there is a need for a sequence of names.Cash | cashandcard

20/11/2016 11:10 | Lack of engines was its main problem. But the names Lincoln, Warwick, Lancaster etc are also names of English cities...I hope that goes down well up north!👆 | rayrac
20/11/2016 09:48 | Must admit the Warwick bomber was a new type to me, but apparently it wasn't very successful | lancasterbomber
20/11/2016 09:25 | Hurricane assets are all at least aviation related. Strathmore seems to be the exception though there is a Strathmore aerodrome, Typhoon & Whirlwind were fighters, Lancaster, Lincoln, Halifax, Warwick were bombers. | james_jones
20/11/2016 01:17 | So all hurricane prospects including the company name, are all second world war aeroplane names?According to Lse bb | zztop

19/11/2016 14:44 | I think any deal between OPEC and non OPEC countries is not going to make that much difference to the oil price in the long run unless the USA is brought into the negotiations because shale oil and plus USA can now export oil. | gary38 |
