So the big question is: Has James W Hudleston finished selling for now or will we see another RNS when his holding falls below 3%?

Ray: no, re Huddleston...

agreee re rig costs, but the only issue with finding oil is the after thoughts and complexitites of development, though dr trice did say they feel theyre buying at a cheap time of the rig seasonal cycle.

imo, they will prob sell lancaster eventually, but they have the added factor that theyre getting the eps done first, so can at least get 20k bopd production whilst they decide what to do with it.....

cheers

If they can pick up an existing FPSO at a good rate, then they should do much better than Tullow, who, I think, went for a new build for a field offshore Africa, which cost a $fortune! There must be stacks of secondhand gear available? That doesn't mean it would be any more unreliable though. Tullow have had a big problem with their new one.

You can see I'm bothered by the cost of field development. It's not just finding the darn oil. But there, you guys think it's going to be sold on to a big boy? Perhaps!

I think Hudleston held over 100M at one time (around flotation time in Feb14). As Prefab says, he has been a seller and in fact sold a mountain of them at the lows to a willing Crystal Amber :)

Hudleston's holdings are through the vehicles, Taheh and Matopos, in case you look back on this history.

No, he's disposed of them. The RNS clearly shows a reduction in holding. I'm not concerned he's been reducing for a long time.

thanks leeson31 these rns often seem to be hard to decipher but these lines confirm
An event changing the breakdown of voting rights YES
An acquisition or disposal of voting rights NO
SO ALL THESE TRANSACTIONs on or prior to 8/11
1:76 NOT TAKEN UP?

NONE have been sold...............

the issued stock from the placing on 8th nov diluted his holding, thus triggered the new holdings % rns...

he still has ~42.9m shs

if you look at a holding rns from May 2015, he had then 42.9m shs

( )

NONE have been sold.. he now simply holds 3.13% whereas PRIOR to placing he had a higher % of overall held stock.

:-)

we can expect rns's of this nature from stakeholders who had more than 3pc prior to placing...............

relaxxxxxx :D
