It seems a bit of a stretch. I'm in touch with senior people in Google & IBM and it doesn't necessarily mean that they want to buy our company. Although in saying that we were paraded in front of a $5 billion US subsidiary company recently.

Speaking of which, if anyone is interested in getting into the seed round of a med tech company working in diabetes Artificial intelligence where the ceo (me) is killing himself and hasn't taken a wage in 7 months, you're welcome to pm me for the IM! Investor memorandum not Ian mcdonagh.

Interesting.
Looks to be a very senior guy at google plus previous job of senior technology guy at Sinclair broadcast so very encouraging that he knows about us😀 (the sort of thing that does not show up in last years accounts but is a metric that I measure more at this time )

Google is one to watch.

As you may know they have just appointed John Honeycutt ex CTO Discovery to lead the Cloud media vertical to target Media companies, they see it as a key strategy for the Google Cloud platform plus they are going into Cloud streaming gaming in a browser Which is also linked to YouTube for gaming video clips etc.

Billions of $ is being invested into all of this to have the best platform.

We have a lot to offer them!

2019 is a key year for us if the results for year end are still very poor then the video market has rejected us.

However these are exciting times full of opportunities which should kick in now.

Lead times can often be 1-2 years in broadcast.

java script version is only just being rolled out.
Companies are only just accepting Cloud workflows.

Many here have been looking at sales but the past has been about R&D

But going forward it’s now about sales.
We have a good sales team imho no good blaming them!

What if the industry doesn’t want our technology solutions?

Potential customers are highly sophisticated and are unlikely to bend to salesmen.

There is no secret. It's hours and hours of research to find out what makes the target tick and what's important to them. You can't sell to what they don't see as a need.
There have been lots of trade shows but nothing that appears to stem from them at all. When will we see a single win from the likes of NAB... almost certainly never as its an excuse for not working on proper targeting.

Those events are to raise awareness amongst professionals not to sign up for contracts.

It’s all Cool but not the same as a Google or such like takeover!

We've had all this before. The measure is how many attendees signed up for further contact about Blackbird. The FBT sales force on present evidence have not yet signed one deal that was not opened by AM or an existing customer. They have been lucky and that says it all. It's all about scores on doors and doing the real work to win new customers. So how many have they targeted and how many have they won? I got my strike rate to 2 out of 3 in the midst of a recession. It wasn't magic it was hard graft finding out what was really important to the target company. Is it possible that we have an expensive team in place who have no record of winning new clients from scratch?
