21/3/2019 16:51 | The opportunity is exploding for our video technology now across so many different areas. Can we capitalise on this? You would hope so! | nickb
21/3/2019 14:57 | Looked at NickB's suggestion and its a good story. Just below it is: Broadcast Sport @broadcast_sport Mar 20 More '@IMG has secured a five-year deal with @BadmintonAsia to be the global media rights representative for all its events to 2023 - That sounds like more usage of Blackbird for the next 5 years. | chriscallen
21/3/2019 13:15 | Hopefully they are informed of a 50% hike in prices, otherwise they can go back to hiring more staff and fixed kit. | bonio10000
21/3/2019 12:50 | Good video interview from Jai Cave of ENVY about Blackbird See our twitter account for the link | nickb
21/3/2019 12:43 | The British Trust for Ornithology is once again running its valuable project tracking cuckoos from their winter grounds back to the UK. Many are on their way but have still hundreds of miles to fly before they reach these shores. So if you are in London today and think you hear a cuckoo it's probably only the attendees at the Spring Meetup. | chriscallen
21/3/2019 09:20 | Latest FBT Tweet Confirming today is Spring Meeting Day! The Blackbird Spring Meetup has arrived! We have over 45 video professionals from the sports, entertainment & technology sectors attending tonight but it's not too late to book a place. Email us at commercial@blackbird | paulcon1
20/3/2019 20:22 | Unfortunately we can't be sure what happened to sports revenue except that the amount actually booked in the year dropped by £3K. We don't know how much was contracted for but deferred because the analysis by sector doesn't show this; it only shows income recognised in the year and we only have a global figure for deferred income which is not analysed by sector or geographical area. | chriscallen
20/3/2019 17:49 | Latest FBT and the CEO's 'football' post has reappeared | paulcon1
20/3/2019 16:13 | It's only money Paul. Someone else's money - but only money nonetheless. | bonio10000
20/3/2019 12:51 | I'm also not worried that (in the last 7 days) they have cash burned another £50k 😉 | paulcon1
20/3/2019 12:31 | Don;t worry - only 20m options outstanding. | bonio10000
20/3/2019 11:39 | A 15% Share Price drop (in a week) for the CEO's latest share purchase. Hint Sir!: Large Contracts (or a buy-out) are the only thing that will turn this baby around! GLA and IMHO | paulcon1
20/3/2019 09:52 | ... actually with the current BoD they probably would still be on AIM with a share price of 7p. | chriscallen
20/3/2019 08:36 | If Fbt discovered how to turn lead into gold, they wouldn't be on Aim now. | mcsean2164
19/3/2019 13:42 | Had the Foundry been on AIM it would probably been at a depressed value for a lot of its life. Venture capitalist looked after it. | nickb
19/3/2019 13:20 | "Yes the US had to go to the British" Same for supersonic aircraft. At least the modern way is for money to be paid. Miles got nothing far as I know! The US firm said they wanted to swap research. They didn't say they had none worth sharing :-) until after they'd got the necessary from Miles (short stubby wings were one of the key pieces of the jigsaw AFAIK). TBF I think the spirit of info sharing remained the order of the day following WWII. Still no shortage of good ideas this side of the pond though... | _m_k
19/3/2019 11:57 | News just out British Technology firm the Foundry just got acquired for £400M by a US firm. The Foundry’s Technology is used in creating all the big US film and TV special effects Post Production. Yes the US had to go to the British😀 | nickb
19/3/2019 11:43 | A bit of data for you Avid (extracted from 4Q results) 125,000 software subscriptions $10million per Q so $40M Per year Avid while very Pro market it’s become somewhat niche in the big video market | nickb
18/3/2019 20:45 | It's great we're above 7p. Not much to add, hope we get bought by someone rather sooner than later at 40p or more. #includedinnextIOSup | keystudio |
