11/3/2019 22:38 | Well I still don't think revenue is so important at this stage, I'm most interested in whether the Ebitda lost has increased and by how much and the sales number. If sales are 1.5mn+ whilst revenue is basically flat then surely that's great news? | aimster4400
11/3/2019 22:03 | The Prince across the water, b! | geheimnis2

11/3/2019 20:57 | Friend of mine claims he has just seen VIC STEEL buying a ticket to Wimbledon Station A ONE WAY ticket.... 😱😱 | geheimnis2
11/3/2019 18:49 | Yes got to expect the worst. | nickb
11/3/2019 17:10 | I thought forbidden sounded cool but would a cto in a company unfamiliar feel the same? Yahoo is consumer. Google is related to googleplex and also consumer. Microsoft was coined when microprocessor was a word, micro was a thing, micro + software. We're selling into organizations. Anyway, my two cents, it all matters. | mcsean2164
11/3/2019 16:35 | Agree, hopefully the need or the time for BS, excuses and hyperbole (incidental of + or - results) ends 7.00am tomorrow! Good luck guys! IMHO | paulcon1
11/3/2019 16:12 | No - three months on since the mention of 6 and 7 figure deals, nothing. And we are supposed to be excited if sales are up £150k. IM has been there for nearly 18 months. No doubt the usual posters are banging on with the same narrative since 2015, it is always next years results that are of interest. | bonio10000
11/3/2019 14:09 | Agree, to the uninitiated it sounds like a virus site or somewhere that one shouldn't be: www.acceptabletechno | mcsean2164
11/3/2019 12:40 | Geh It’s very Forbidden isn’t it They should change the name of the company that will change perceptions! | nickb
11/3/2019 12:01 | "However that’s in the future but past 12 months results will be disappointing I would expect." Hmmm, now that rings a bell! | geheimnis2
11/3/2019 10:09 | Chris Yes he did say 25% but that is not going to be good enough going forward. Nearly all the growth should be from the USA now. News from NAB in April might tell us if any OEM’s have signed up for that Blackbird Inside sticker. However that’s in the future but past 12 months results will be disappointing I would expect. | nickb
11/3/2019 09:49 | Just reflecting on what has been said recently. I think it's in the interview given by IM at BVE that he said North America is now about 25% of turnover. In 2017 it was worth £147K and most of the posts of wins have been from that source. So if they have managed to raise say £100K new income that would at it's most optimistic imply 2018 turnover of about £1M. | chriscallen
11/3/2019 08:37 | Hi Chris, Very well measured and logical post. Fbt seems to have evaded logic to now, It would be great to see Mitton take an active role. It is not nice to see someone fired but fbt is a business and businesses require business decisions! | mcsean2164
10/3/2019 20:33 | Probably just a coincidence, Nick Forget I mentioned it.. | geheimnis2
10/3/2019 19:55 | Chriscallen, a good, good post. BWTFDIK sideshow | sideshowbull
10/3/2019 18:59 | Geh Perhaps he is planning a takeover? | nickb
10/3/2019 18:55 | Chris I doubt we will see a significant increase in revenue posted. This is a jam tomorrow stock remember! Will the market look past the financials and reward the technical progress and Ian’s business strategy progress or focus on last years lacklustre financials? Will it be 5p or 10p or maybe a boring unchanged share price by end of next week? As to the non execs I am disappointed with them but to be fair we are not privi to their input so they maybe more value than we think. I would like to see Luke Johnson as a non executive. Very successful businessman, investor and ex media CH4 head. | nickb
10/3/2019 18:18 | Rumours of Vic Steel sighting in Costa Coffee on Wimbledon High Street Probably nothing - I wouldn’t read anything into it | geheimnis2
10/3/2019 17:21 | bonio10000 is probably right but I wonder how the present balance of power will play out? Per the FBT website 46.9 % of the FBT shares are classed as not being in public hands so they are presumably held by SS, IM, the other directors and related parties. The top 3 institutional holders are: Miton Group plc 57,766,728 19.55% Schroders 24,930,000 8.44% Canaccord Genuity Group Inc 17,854,000 6.04% which is just short of 34%. The remaining 19% are presumably held by smaller institutions and private investors and given the very low numbers being traded quite a large number of the 19% are locked up so the active free float looks quite small. Miton et al are hard nosed investors who have to deliver. They will want to see progress towards targets they will have had in mind when the last placing of shares occurred. If all that we have is what we know to date I would expect them to be pushing for further management changes at Board level. Lees is exiting anyway so that leaves Main, Bentley and Irving in the line of fire. Would IM stick up for them especially if he was offered non execs who could actually help with major contacts? Neither SS nor IM can be seen to resist the institutional investors if they have not increased turnover very materially and that means new contracts being announced on or before 12/03. I'm just hoping that they have not chosen the date because of other distractive news items. | chriscallen
10/3/2019 16:36 | It will be the same statement it is every year. | bonio10000
09/3/2019 13:49 | There will be a few key FBT personnel practicing their statements in preparation for Tuesday - The CEO - The Chairman - NickB 😉 | paulcon1
09/3/2019 11:43 | I was working with another company and a senior business guy had the exact same idea, name inside. It must be taught on some course. | mcsean2164 |
