Market games. i fink you said that when price drop back from 24p to 19p yous now say it when price 14p i predikt you say it again when price is 11p yous lost half ya money jus watchin and waitin that dont matter thous coz it market games to you innit | fsawatcher
07/12/2017 13:46 | ch4p - just holding our shares and shutting up seems an appropriate course of action when there isn't a spurious report doing the rounds that's caning the share price. Today, I think it's appropriate to hold our shares and make some noise. | terry hardacre
07/12/2017 13:42 | Let's just hold our shares and shut up. Market games. | ch4p_85
07/12/2017 13:40 | stewart - my thoughts exactly. What is taking them so long to issue a short, simple statement? They manage to do a rehash on SGC's RNS's within a couple of hours. This is damaging faith in EME's management the longer this goes on. oilforex - interesting analysis, and I think confirms what we are assuming and what the company needs to confirm; viz X1 has not been tested yet. I strongly suspect the strachan report was deliberately phrased in the way it was to cause the effect we're witnessing. A lot of smelly action here of late. | terry hardacre
07/12/2017 13:35 | Buffy I don't honestly think there is any confusion, other than those trying to confuse. | oilforex
07/12/2017 13:34 | Surely the confusion over exactly what zones are being tested are exactly what the JV wants. We’ll know if we have commercial flows, and how much, but we won’t know exactly which zone/s we are producing from; and neither will competitors. To be frank, I really can’t see what advantage that confers, given we’ve confirmed the production levels, but clearly it must do. Buffy | buffythebuffoon

07/12/2017 12:57 | transmar, Zengas stated that he had sold out and had a free ride holding left... stop trying to insight a reaction. childish!! | nametrade
07/12/2017 12:57 | Starz, See what I mean | judijudi
07/12/2017 12:54 | Any sign of Zengas?Thought not looking at the predicted chart. 31p pump was not the time to be buying, but these levels are more realistic,in fact good value with what's still to come. | transmar
07/12/2017 12:54 | It's been said before that Dempsey has enough gas to pay for the drilling so we shouldn't lose out on that. At this rate Dempsey won't be in the share price and we can all relax as our other stuff should eclipse this. I still think there are ulterior motives at work here. Why make the markets wait so long for testing and then bam we get an assumption from outside company sources? | digger2779
07/12/2017 12:48 | Open to comment. These are the reported zones of interest. I believe you have to be careful as the flurry of RNS, certainly at the beginning can lead to it looking like more zones have been reported than is the case. For example I think the excitement of the first three RNS are reporting the same 4 zones of interest. Not sure my table prints well here so I have listed from the RNS. Each shows the date, reported drilling level, level of shows and number of reported zones where provided. 09-Aug Drilling commences 14-Aug Multiple significant gas shows 1300 Prior to 1300 4 21-Aug Four gas zones confimed (X1) 1760 1000 to 1560 29-Aug Significant gas shows multiple zones (X2) 2182 1560-2182 30-Aug Unexpected zone 2300 2182-2300 1 31-Aug Drilling Ahead Through Additional Significant Zones(X3) 2440 2300-2440 ? 04-Sep Drilling Ahead Through Additional Significant Zones (X3) 2615 2440-2615 ? 08-Sep Drilled into Primary Gas Bearing Sand Reservoir (X4) 2760 2615-2760 1 13-Sep Two further zones Finish 2760-2790 2 Zones Target Depth Not Reached 3200 My reading of this latest Strachan post is that the "deepest target zone on top of the volcanic rocks" is not X4 as seems to have been suggested. Assigning it this label is purely an interpretation or attempt to mislead. The sub commerical gas shows referenced are in my view, the second of the two zones reported on 13th September. This has already been reported. I interpret it this way as he later refers to this zone as being "intersected at the edge of a much larger sandstone unit that had been mapped on seismic" - which is X4. Look at the reported depths and you can see that the RNS of 08 and 13 September report these areas within just metres. If you can get your head around this conclusion, then the rest of his article is quite upbeat, albeit mighty unclear. It does er on the side of caution as should be expected. IMHO it says nothing new, or certainly nothing that isn't already in the public domain. I would guess that the kick to the share price comes from the final comment "final gas flow results from the shallower targets might take several weeks to achieve." For anyone who reads my posts I have mentioned before that I don't expect any connection til Feb or March next year. Also the slow rate of testing bearing in mind where we seem to be at present is certainly burning cash. Anyway still all to play for here imho. Seems that some always want jam today however... | oilforex |
