04/12/2017 06:55 | Christmas is coming after all. | the guardian
04/12/2017 06:54 | Great thing is that because of the drop on Friday I might be able to top up under 17p !!!!! | oakville
04/12/2017 06:50 | Could someone with more knowledge than me please confirm what the details are concerning the required 'guidelines on reporting results'. I am assuming these related to flow testing, shutting in and then flowing again? Is there a timeline, what would they be looking to report apart from pressures and gas quality? | dancingbear
04/12/2017 06:49 | Agreed Maltby most encouraging indeed. To my mind perhaps a more significant RNS than first meets the eye as this brings the huge Alvarez into play. On top of that it looks like we will have the funds in the future to develop the China blocks. of course things can and do go wrong and i am not a oil and gas man but i think the probabilities have just swung firmly in our favor which at this early stage is more than enough form me. Not being a frequent trader i am here to enjoy the journey well into next year and beyond assuming we are not sold ! | desertrat2
04/12/2017 06:46 | Looking at the SGC price he is wondering how to get out alive plumbed new lows on huge volume will report the days chatter from the terrace later stiff coffee for all eme longs | brimsley
04/12/2017 06:45 | So.......no news WAS good news it would appear. Good luck all. | rutter
04/12/2017 05:59 | A very under stated comment from Gary as though he is having the greatest difficulty in containing his excitement with the initial results of this testing. All the clues are there. Very encouraging, Alvarez next etc. Back into the 20s by the end of the week. Can't wait for the next update which could be the one we have been hoping for. | maltby2002
04/12/2017 05:07 | The flare looks huge | pb01
04/12/2017 04:28 | I am not sure it will reach even that given SGC response to news | jp1962
04/12/2017 04:26 | Looks ok to me. Maybe a push to 20p at most though today? | oakville
04/12/2017 04:04 | I can appreciate that, there are no guarantees of course. But it looks pretty good. | cmackay
04/12/2017 02:15 | Cmac I agree. Having been through the EME ringer in the past will just wait and see how it plays out before getting really excited. The meter station at the well is excellent for getting any gas to market quickly. Off to bed and will sleep soundly. | dont jump
04/12/2017 02:04 | DJ; yes it is a very positive observation. It all has the feel of a cash cow being revealed incrementally. It bodes well for China funding, the less dilution required the better obviously. | cmackay
04/12/2017 01:55 | I thought it interesting in his comment he says in part “confirms that Dempsey is indeed a very significant gas discovery in the Northern Sacramento Basin.” Would be good to see a recent picture of Gary Jeffrey to assess his smile. :-) Anyway a long way to go but this winter is looking brighter. Look forward to TK’s comment later today. | dont jump
04/12/2017 01:23 | I'm also reassured by the amount of time they have been working on the second zone, it's obviously not taken all this time just to perforate the second zone so the flow testing has been going for a fair bit now. Promising stuff. | cmackay
04/12/2017 01:12 | "Since the last test update the results of the gas quality from the first flow test of the lowermost zone in Dempsey 1-15 have confirmed clean gas of pipeline quality with a Higher Heating Value (HHV) better than the gas from the overlying field reservoirs in the Rancho Capay Gas Field." So the unknown of the equation is further proven; the deeps hold gas, and the gas is good. | cmackay
04/12/2017 00:46 | They're still very confident, that'll do for me. | mark of the rushes
04/12/2017 00:43 | Absolutely fantastic! Brimsley, the offer is retracted but if you're interested I will front you a Holiday Inn breakfast in Rhyl. Better close that short, you won't be seeing 12p after all. Well done all that held on, bring on the China update. Merry Christmas and blessings upon you all for the new year. | cmackay
04/12/2017 00:33 | We face the awful prospect of waiting for up to 2 months here before we know the final outcome. Every week or so it will be, found more gas, then, found even more gas An awful future awaits us. Anyone suggest what could happen to the SP? Interesting that they choose to mention Alvarez??? | honestmarty
04/12/2017 00:27 | So basically, there’s so much gas at a really high pressure, they’re struggling to test it? Surely this is brilliant news?! | david15x
04/12/2017 00:14 | Softly softly catchee monkey. | mark of the rushes
04/12/2017 00:10 | Game well and truly on eh Brimsley! I do hope you are shorting EME & SGC. No gas over the orchard? Think you better get your glasses on and check the official news lol | blueblood
04/12/2017 00:09 | Anyone know what the short position is here? Brimsley has 3 months PIP money short. Gonna be a cold Xmas | honestmarty
04/12/2017 00:06 | For those that would like to read the RNS Buffy | buffythebuffoon
04/12/2017 00:04 | Caution here Looks like the worst case of PDFD I’ve even seen! Do you agree Brimsley? Brinsley Where you got to boy? | honestmarty |
