Could someone with more knowledge than me please confirm what the details are concerning the required 'guidelines on reporting results'. I am assuming these related to flow testing, shutting in and then flowing again? Is there a timeline, what would they be looking to report apart from pressures and gas quality?

Agreed Maltby most encouraging indeed. To my mind perhaps a more significant RNS than first meets the eye as this brings the huge Alvarez into play. On top of that it looks like we will have the funds in the future to develop the China blocks. of course things can and do go wrong and i am not a oil and gas man but i think the probabilities have just swung firmly in our favor which at this early stage is more than enough form me. Not being a frequent trader i am here to enjoy the journey well into next year and beyond assuming we are not sold !

A very under stated comment from Gary as though he is having the greatest difficulty in containing his excitement with the initial results of this testing. All the clues are there. Very encouraging, Alvarez next etc. Back into the 20s by the end of the week. Can't wait for the next update which could be the one we have been hoping for.

Cmac I agree. Having been through the EME ringer in the past will just wait and see how it plays out before getting really excited. The meter station at the well is excellent for getting any gas to market quickly.

DJ; yes it is a very positive observation. It all has the feel of a cash cow being revealed incrementally. It bodes well for China funding, the less dilution required the better obviously.

I thought it interesting in his comment he says in part “confirms that Dempsey is indeed a very significant gas discovery in the Northern Sacramento Basin.”

Would be good to see a recent picture of Gary Jeffrey to assess his smile. :-)

I'm also reassured by the amount of time they have been working on the second zone, it's obviously not taken all this time just to perforate the second zone so the flow testing has been going for a fair bit now. Promising stuff.

So the unknown of the equation is further proven; the deeps hold gas, and the gas is good.

We face the awful prospect of waiting for up to 2 months here before we know the final outcome.

Every week or so it will be, found more gas, then, found even more gas

An awful future awaits us.

Anyone suggest what could happen to the SP?
