Sounds like Gary Jeffery is holding himself back from being hyper bullish until it’s official!

I think it's great news. This will all come together with time. No rush, let's get it right. I think that's what they are doing. Slow and steady. Happy days.

The second zone perforated has flowed dry natural gas and no water AND WITH A HIGHER HEATING VALUE BETTER THAN THE GAS FROM THE OVERLYING FIELD RESERVOIRS IN THE RANCHO CAPAY GAS FIELD .... further gathering of test data is required before we have sufficient information to meet regulator guidelines on reporting results....but gas flowing from this zone is VERY ENCOURAGING.

We have further multiple zones to test...the Dempsey reservoirs are VERY HIGH PRESSURE....We look forward to providing an update on current testing shortly.

--------------

Excellent news imho, and obviously restrained by Stock Exchange Regulations about details of testing at present, until further testing takes place.

I think that we are certainly at the early stages of assessing of a World Class Gas Resource and thus a buying opportunity that will pay off handsomely.

Stewart. It's speculative observation from two posters on the Hotcopper SGC bb. Both quite clued in to O & G matters. They worked out the estimated time frames for setting up testing for the second zone + perforation procedure etc. We'll know fairly shortly..

Agreed. However there is speculation it will be from this Wednesday night onwards. ASX opens at 23.00 hrs. 11 hours ahead. SGC / PCL / XST might put out notification(s) of an impending RNS on their Hotcopper bb's slightly before then. This is what SGC have done previously. GLTA.

Don't forget, China update is expected before Christmas. Revenue from China will take longer than anything that Sacramento can provide but when it is being priced in then the current price will be a bargain, not to mention anything bought cheaper.

Thanks Bishop, i was perhaps reading too much into your post and took as fact that the well was flowing at that rate right now rather than potential ! Anyways as you rightly say best of luck to all next week another cliff hanger no doubt

I am as sure as I can be, because the source is the Managing Director of Sacgasco himself. Please read below and go the the company website to view the two presentations he gives there.

(1) Sargasco's owned meter station 200 feet from the well head, can take up to 20 million cubic feet of gas per day, nice clean dry gas....

(2) That equates to up to $60,000 of cash flow per day.

(3) The total recovered gas from the whole Dempsey prospect amounting to 1 Tcf (perhaps more) will equate to $3 billion of gross cash flow over the life of the reservoir.

These figures above are specifically stated in the September 2016 presentation.
Watch it for yourself on the Sacgasco Company Website in the folder marked MEDIA. You will find the two Oil Conference Presentations both given by Managing Director of Sacgasco, Gary Jeffery.

LINK:

In the second presentation of September 2017, he said that Dempsey has many gas traps that have been overlooked in the past and the basin is underexplored. Operators in the past were only interested in the oil, not gas, plus the infrastructure was not in place to take gas in those days.

He also stated that they had lost count on how many zones with significant gas shows had been encountered during drilling Dempsey. Fortunately they had set casing in the well at the G zone, because after that they met gas blows that they may not have been able to handle without casing in place.

Plus he said that gas prices can be easily hedged out to the end of 2028 with prices well in excess of $3 mcf.

This is a World Class Reservoir. A game changer for Sacgasco and Empyrean.

Best of luck for next week.
