05/7/2016 10:58 | Austerity rules there. Maybe unlikely. I thought results were due today. Looks like it could be heading back to 200 here. Chart awful | gswredland
04/7/2016 15:06 | I know Carillion is not just construction and not just UK, but this news can not help. Come on George. Get the cheque book out and fund some infrastucture projects. | m4rtinu
04/7/2016 10:16 | Thanks , it does play down the Brexit issue. Make little difference to the man with a digger I suspect. | wad collector
30/6/2016 21:27 | Interesting take on it. Does seem to be something behind it eh or is it all the shortens? We will see soon enough! | gswredland
30/6/2016 17:52 | Well there's Interserve at 9% yield, and that company is believed to be in trouble after directors saying all was fine before admitting they had a big problem with a contract. Div cut almost certainly on the cards there. Then there's CLLN saying this was going to be a good year. I believe they may be eating their words soon. Whenever you get this strong downward trend which seems to be unfounded, 90% of the time bad news will come out. | bend1pa
30/6/2016 17:16 | According to ADFN the yield is now 7.8%. Can that be sustained? | gswredland
30/6/2016 17:13 | Was around the 200 level in 2008 wasn't it? | gswredland
30/6/2016 11:21 | Why indeed. Bullied, persecuted ... | m4rtinu
28/6/2016 13:42 | Doubled my holding here. Still unsure why it's so unloved? | zcaprd7
28/6/2016 09:32 | Should have a trading update nxt Wed (6th July). | m4rtinu
28/6/2016 09:09 | There again, Interserve is 9%!! | edmundshaw
28/6/2016 09:08 | 7.4% yield if it sustains... | edmundshaw
27/6/2016 13:05 | Always said I have too many and won't add , but couldn't resist another lump at 240. The numbers are silly. As long as it isn't going bust. | wad collector
27/6/2016 10:08 | 240p was a bit too tempting... | edmundshaw
24/6/2016 17:44 | Adam - UK, Mid East and Canada as far as I know. Possibly CLLN fell more than others (in same sector?) for the same concerns as others have already expressed above. But actually final fall is about par with ftse 250. I wouldn't be surprised if some shorters closed (as Wad says). But also wouldn't be surprised to see them re-open new positions. | m4rtinu
24/6/2016 10:13 | The shorters must be smiling if they managed to close this morning! | wad collector
24/6/2016 09:19 | Anyone quickly now what % of CLLN's business is in Europe? Or why the fall for them is more than others? | adamb1978
24/6/2016 08:47 | Well the shorts got their way and their insurance policy worked . Trying to buy is a nightmare but managed 2k. Clln earns plenty in other currencies so pound devaluation good for them. | lab305
24/6/2016 08:47 | Wow! Some money been lost and made this am. | m4rtinu
24/6/2016 06:50 | Well I did tell you. red | redartbmud
23/6/2016 21:06 | The shorting may also relate to the fact that Carillion do a lot of work in the Middle East and this could be considered to be vulnerable if oil continues to cause problems in the region. | rcturner2

23/6/2016 17:22 | wad No lack of confidence in Clln. It remains one of my biggest holdings. I regularly trade a few and each time I sell it is to recover my stake and keep the remaining shares. It has become a game now, but one that sees me as a winner each time. Given the low PE and the dividend yield I am prepared to sit on each purchase for as long as it takes. The odd extra dividend along the way is a nice bonus. Buy the dips and sell the spikes. Last purchase £2.658 sale £2.791867, period 13 days. I am not convinced by the strength of the 'Brexit' rally. It may provide another buying opportunity in sort order. Good luck. red | redartbmud |
