so are you saying its 50% of the 120p launch price, or 50% of the recent dismal lows around 50p which encouraged you to buy into a company with a one way signpost on its share price for the last few years?

Brave investor status for those buying into this crock

What's happening with AVE.

Fallen almost 50% of my buying price.

Does nobody want AVE at these prices?

Surely Avis is a prime takeover target at these levels.
The brand is worth more than this and the company could be run a million times better. Needs fresh new management imo.

Book written by Jim Slater about investment. very old fashioned. very boring. A useful checkpooint in a world of ramping, cheap debt and spin. It ask simple questions including a look at what the management are saying in the results in straight forward terms about growth and confidence in their product/market through PE & PEG.

The outlook here is not positive, good, encouraging, expanding, new etc. It uses words like remains and challenging

CCNP Slater Zulu?

I am wondering why, after co. issues statement on 28/8 saying outloo remains the same, that the share price has fallen on a daily basis to be 31% down. Are we going to zero?

cause it always has extraordinary reasons for failing to make a good healthy profit. It fails the basic Slater Zulu principles every time

Thought you might like these charts.

Two questions...
Why is Avis such a dog?
How come this thread has nice boxes round the posts?

only a matter of time before share price came back. Rally was caused by bear closing.
