26/4/2024 09:48 | Deascil ... ://storagemagazine.c thank you for your post. I found it very useful. This article is several years old but mentions that graphene could be used in the cooling aspect mentioned in the seagate promotion, as is 'nobel prize winning tech'. It would seem possible that seagate is referring to graphene, although it is not actually said. My point is any commercial use of graphene, whoever supplied it,is a good omen. I looked up the product range and it appears that it is currently available online. Gla | agaudry

25/4/2024 14:40 | Hi, I haven't posted for a while... Anyway, this is a an interesting short vid about Heat-Assisted Magnetic Recording (HAMR). Not sure if it's been posted on this forum, apologies if it has... youtu.be/NNzlxhDOhfs | deascii

25/4/2024 03:32 | Votlem if you buy at 21p is because you believe the company is worth more than 21p. What do you think IQE value is and why? | alotto
24/4/2024 21:51 | My gut instinct is we'll be back to around 20-22p soon enough. Without any positive news pressure remains. Anyone want to call the bottom before the end of May? I'll go 21p. | votiem
24/4/2024 17:17 | Back below 27p, rest of this week important for the near term share price as we could easily find ourselves sinking back to low 20s quickly if 26p resistance fails. | crosswires
23/4/2024 12:12 | lucas5950 - IQE takeover theories are as old as the hills. And they've never come to anything. If anyone was seriously contemplating this, they'd have bid last autumn when the share price was under 14p. It aint gonna happen IMHO. | lord loads of lolly
23/4/2024 11:37 | With IQE unique placement in the market, surely it’s being looked at for an acquisition? | lucas5950
22/4/2024 19:34 | Positive Outlook is insufficient to warrant a valuation above 300 millions, which is the current market cap. We need to see new contract wins, at this point I don't even care if IQE has to weather another year of statutory losses as long as we can see there is a sizable market for their semiconductors. | alotto
22/4/2024 17:44 | crosswires - not sure it's down to irregular news flow. More, that traditionally a lot of IQE's news has been bad. And the company's still not forecast to move into profit this FY. I could never understand why the share price rose so much after 10th April results. And I said repeatedly at the time that I thought this was unsustainable. I maintain that view, though on a 2 year timescale I expect things (including the share price) to have significantly improved. | lord loads of lolly
22/4/2024 15:44 | Important for the short term that we hold on to resistance over 26p. Ideally over 27.0 Disappointing we haven’t managed to consolidate but unsurprising as this isn’t a stock with regular news flow. | crosswires

21/4/2024 21:00 | Lord operational gearing can be guesstimated from the financial statements. All your points are very valid and I agree with all of what you said in your latest post. | alotto
21/4/2024 16:40 | Guildedge - if there were “Lots of conversations being had in the background”, how exactly would you be privy to them? Also, you say: “After 182m pretty much all their admin costs should of been paid for so profits would rise quickly”. I’m not sure that’s quite the case. Whilst IQE certainly has a high fixed cost base, there’s an element of variable costs & overheads too, which will rise in line with sales. | lord loads of lolly
21/4/2024 15:20 | You would expect IQE to smash these figures if things go well. Lots of conversations being had in the background | guildedge
