09/4/2024 17:11 | The filter option is there for a reason. One big trade yesterday of 1.5m. UT trade today exactly 20p. Pricing share where the share issue was many months back? Is that a coincidence or markets playing games? See what tomorrow brings. It's a day for IQE to clear any bad news and set a signpost to what to expect from 2024. | guildedge
09/4/2024 14:38 | Quoinit Member since 30/08/2018 and in that time you posted a total of 18 times and all of them about IQE , which clearly suggests that you're a fake poster by one of the above. Fakey why don't you just crawl back to where you came out from. Jeez what a bunch of pathetic LOSER's. | z1co
09/4/2024 14:32 | quoinit et al - the filter is your friend. When no-one reacts they soon get bored. | lord loads of lolly
09/4/2024 14:20 | Z1CO -is your use of English as good as your investing | quoinit
09/4/2024 11:48 | Like neil100 you have no idea about investing. Investing is NOT just buy the shares and keep hoping. Ask yourself why are you losing so much money in IQE instead of attacking other posters. That's what happens to people like you that are losing or have lost most their wealth. You need to learn the ropes of investing and very fast before you lose everything. Unfortunately growing up will NOT help you | z1co
09/4/2024 11:31 | Amishp67 , You are embarrassing yourself and you're also deep under water. ==================== Amishp6730 Aug '22 - 22:21 - 1316 of 4215 0 10 0 Most people are wrong.. most retail traders lose. I wouldn't worry about the shorters or the price...the company isn't operating differently today at 34p than last week when it was over 40p. Nothings changed over night in regards to the Comapny. Focus on the company itself and it's long term goals and hopefully positive RNS along the way. Patience is key. ==================== How pathetic of you to say patience is the key. Like neil100 you're also a one trick pony. | z1co
09/4/2024 11:13 | Zico, with respect..stop talking nonsense. Nobody cares about your other trades or your thoughts on IQE. Grow up! | amishp67
09/4/2024 10:44 | From the quality of that prolific posting it may not even be a real user. Probably just an AI without the "I". If so we can expect another flurry of posts any minute. | jamesrowe
09/4/2024 08:33 | neil100 , From your above post "you’re demonstrating naive investment commentary" Buying shares is all about trying to make some profits. Since you've been invested here for more than 10 years , you're another one that's really deep underwater. When someone is losing as much as you that individual will NOT be able to think straight. You have absolutely no chance of ever recovering your losses here And you have the cheek to say i'm naive. On yer bike LOSER Edit Unlike you i have some big winners like WSG CSFS and BOOM will be also be a big gainer this year | z1co
09/4/2024 08:10 | Agreed Hammered although I expect LTS meant that it doesn’t necessarily follow that IQE will make the 30% margins Americo was targeting, because larger volume contracts can often have tighter margins, think how much Apple squeeze suppliers for the sake of monster volume. Agree re cost base of course. I too do not expect a bullish forward statement but even if there was to be one, as you point out almost nobody believes anything IQE says anymore, especially their outlandish 3x revenue forecast. That is an issue that can only be solved by delivering new revenue and actual profits. Anyway the downside here is largely limited to 13-15p area, and we all know that if they can transform the revenues and margins the upside is probably 3-4x the current share price at least. | crosswires
09/4/2024 07:56 | Goodness, don’t you lot get tired of posting the same things every day? Forecasting is often a fool’s errand but if anyone is hoping for a positive forward looking statement I fear they’ll either be disappointed or the market will shrug its shoulders and ask why this year’s statement should be treated any different to any of the other ones that haven’t come to pass. One glaring error for LongTallSally I feel bound to correct. “If you get 3x revenue and the same margin all it means is IQE will actually just make even larger losses…” Obviously this is nonsense. IQE problem has always, since deciding to take over the world, been too high a fixed cost base. Increasing revenue at the same (positive) margins will, by definition, improve overall profitability/reduce losses. Maybe aee you all again in another 3 months if nothing juicy appears tomorrow. | hammerd2
08/4/2024 21:07 | Z1co, I can see why purple warned all on this bulletin board about your presence. Your response to his warning is very telling, you’re demonstrating naive investment commentary which you will of course respond to like a child. Wednesday has the potential to be the most promising day in IQEs recent reporting and I hope it is so for the more mature investors here. | neil100
08/4/2024 16:11 | Keep an eye on the outlook statement .... | z1co
08/4/2024 16:05 | Clever lad Zico, we’re all delighted for you no doubt, However your posts don’t really add much knowledge and although your pleased with yourself it’s getting a bit old already so i’ll pass from here on in. All the best | longtallsally
08/4/2024 15:05 | You will only recover your huge losses if the share price rises. For me i'm already showing profits even at 19.5p. | z1co
08/4/2024 12:37 | “Not to worry i'm quite confident of the recovery this year and the subsequent rerate in the share price.” Oh that’s alright then 😂 | longtallsally
08/4/2024 12:34 | Some on this forum are clueless and are so much deep underwater that they think straight. This usually happens when you've been stuck so long. Not to worry i'm quite confident of the recovery this year and the subsequent rerate in the share price. And about the filter business that's just a load of b/s. They all say that but no one actually does it! | z1co
08/4/2024 11:48 | Let’s hope so but talk is cheap. | longtallsally
08/4/2024 11:41 | LTS - I agree with most of your points and am highly suspicious of a certain poster's motives here (since filtered), who only recently appeared & claims to be uber-optimistic, despite the general mood music. However, I disagree when you say: "If you get 3x revenue and the same margin, all it means is IQE will actually just make even larger losses." Sure, margins are a major issue. But IQE also has very high fixed costs. A lot of which are tied up in tooling & IP which - whilst inherently valuable - are currently adding zip to the bottom line. 3x revenue would lead to far less than 3x fixed costs, so this WOULD boost profits. | lord loads of lolly
08/4/2024 11:39 | The link to the webcast will come with the earnings report and be available for us all a few hours later. S | sweenoid
08/4/2024 11:10 | I’ll wait til Wednesday morning to update my thoughts but cannot say I am enthusiastic yet and won’t be adding to my existing tranche before. LTS is not wrong in her gloomy stance as that is what the evidence leads to, although we live in hope that at some point Americos work will change the dial further down the road. | crosswires
08/4/2024 11:06 | Yes they don't have to trade a great better than last year for the share price to rise back above 30p. Lets not forget the price was 60p in January 2023. | z1co |
