I've just realised a link on the right hand side of the pages shows other jobs Expansys are advertising for... In the last 3/4 weeks

Online Marketing Manager (Greater China), Assistant Accountant, Project Assistant, Web and Graphic Designer, Technicians, Japanese Customer Service & Warehouse Keeper.

Things would appear to really gaining traction in Asia.

FYI the retail division of the USA business still sold over £14.5m last year. Its the Expansys retail divisions in Uk/Europe and USA that need to break even or return to profit.

Of note the US retail division made an adjusted loss of GBP0.4 million last year but in 2012 turned a profit of GBP0.2 million!

I doubt XPS was any beneficiary of Black Friday. Amazon, Argos, Ebay all offer much better price and choice, not to mention customer service. Only hope here is the sim business.

On Black Friday, the Real Fight Was Online

Online shoppers accounted for 40% of the $59 billion in sales racked up over the four-day Black Friday weekend last year, up from 23% in 2006, according to the National Retail Federation.

Good to see ASIA continues to expand. It is the profitable part of Expansys retail along with DSNS and PJ Media also being profitable. Its retail sales were up 24% by nearly a fifth to £17.5m last year! Its just Expansys retail in Europe and US that need to be made break even or closed and then this is worth at a lot more then the current market cap.

From the last results!

"Asia benefited from a new significant fulfilment contract but profits overall were flat at GBP0.4 million"
