25/11/2013 20:34 | ryan83 - 36m trade was a reported late trade. Given the recent uptick I'd suspect it was a buy. | opaldouglas
25/11/2013 14:15 | £20K SELL today. Someone dont want to be around for the results?? | ryan83
25/11/2013 08:40 | Some people paying over the ask - does that mean a shortage of shares?? | battyman2

21/11/2013 18:24 | LBO - the figures are very compelling, not long to wait now for interim's so we can see whats really happening. | opaldouglas
21/11/2013 08:53 | Opaldouglas Taking the the £2.6m exceptionals out last year and adding in the £1.5m profit last year means they have left themselves plenty of room. | lbo
21/11/2013 08:27 | Bit of buying going on before results | hamidahamida
20/11/2013 16:16 | LBO - N+1 Singer are both NA and broker to XPS and must surely have the inside line to Expansys, if those projections are correct a corner has certainly been turned and we can look forward to the coming years with excitement. | opaldouglas
20/11/2013 13:36 | Jessops to make profit in first year under new owner Peter Jones | lbo
14/11/2013 11:46 | Graham - Its a valid point, perhaps he has other plans. Interims are out within a month so we'll get a better picture of progress shortly. | opaldouglas
13/11/2013 08:57 | LBO - thanks for the link. Graham - A good read through the past 3/4 years rns's will give you a good feel for whats happened here. Essentially Expansys group has undergone significant changes in recent years in order to reposition itself and also cut costs, its by no means out of the woods but it would seem the worst is behind it for now. Revs dropped from 108m to 93m last FY results, interestingly if Expansys were to replicate last years which were rather poor and you actually strip out exceptional items (& impairment/amortisat The link above from LBO forecasts revs of £112M this year and £123M the year after, so as long as XPS don't throw in any ridiculous exceptional restructuring costs I believe this could rerate significantly. Expansys has no debt and circa £3.3M cash in the bank. Effectively valuing the company at £2.5M. OD | opaldouglas
13/11/2013 07:30 | Are there any long term holders on this thread who can fill me in on the history ? It looks dirt cheap. However, has not the great Peter Jones lost £25m on his stake ? Has there been press comment on this ? What really caused the catastrophic share price collapse ? one set of results or accumulation of trading news ? It still has cash yet is valued as if going bust ? | graham1ty
25/9/2013 13:35 | Would not be surprised if a opportunistic bid materialised DSNS and PJ media alone making over £4m pa which on a conservative x5 would value them at £20m or over 1.5p per share | lbo
24/9/2013 21:06 | Misprint and corrected to 1.8 mil | 29howard
24/9/2013 20:06 | What was that trade? | hamidahamida
24/9/2013 13:06 | Not in, tried to buy the other day but wanted .03p premium I do not do that mm's make enough so had to sit and watch it climb today. | 29howard
24/9/2013 13:03 | You back in 29howard? Noted the 18mil buy though LSE shows a reversal on that trade & replaced by a buy of 1.8mil instead..... | charmer1_23 |
