24/9/2013 12:59 | Something is happening here, not the usual small buying that is moving this higher, might be a rns coming. | 29howard
16/9/2013 14:30 | Confidence of small-businesses at three-year high in FSB report | lbo
13/9/2013 13:49 | UK Online Retailers Upbeat About Sales | lbo
05/9/2013 12:57 | If Expansys were to do a similar Pixmania deal it would cost them x2 operating losses of £0.8m or £1.6m cash of their £3m cash to get rid of Expansys retail but would leave them with DSNS and PJ media making over £4m pa which on a conservative x5 would value them at £20m or over 1.5p per share | lbo
05/9/2013 11:54 | Interesting trading update from Dixons today. | showmethehoney
28/8/2013 20:03 | "Here in the UK, retail sales rose at an unexpectedly high rate in August, consistent with the quickest pace of hiring in over 10 years. The Confederation of British Industry's (CBI) monthly distributive trades survey increased from +17 to +27, significantly higher than the average analyst estimate for a jump to +19. It is thought that sales were boosted by the hot weather, the royal-baby effect and morale-boosting sporting victories during the month. The figures fuel further expectations for a true recovery within the UK economy" | lbo
23/8/2013 11:10 | The UK is Expansys largest turnover retail region at the moment UK economic growth revised up to 0.7% | lbo
21/8/2013 17:39 | looks like bullish price action, should push on towards 0.8p from here | kristini2
20/8/2013 07:32 | No 'we know no reason' RNS for XPS though? | showmethehoney
19/8/2013 12:12 | Many sells today. We need volume to take the .70 otherwise back to .50s | vyke82
17/8/2013 10:15 | 29howard, believe their is broker target of 2.4p on but tend to take these things with a pinch of salt. The mark down after the result was a bit severe but peeps cottoned on that these were far too cheap down there as market cap was covered by cash balances. The company talks about medium recovery so maybe a return to the 2p+ region is not so far fetched if these are not taken out or private. Treacle29 does like talking to him/herself but did make a good call on HCP, maybe more by luck than good judgement but still spectacular short term gains despite the company issuing a "we know no reason...." parking ticket. Back to XPS, hoping this recovery continues apace with a steady climb back to 1p+ region. Regards | charmer1_23
17/8/2013 09:35 | Maybe it's the profit forcast for this year which is driving this up, 2 million, strip out the cash and it's on a forward PER of under 3, providing it is actually trading anywhere near those forcast but the recent demand gives way to better trading behind the scenes. | 29howard
16/8/2013 16:53 | nice rise to cap off an excellent week. charmer - nothing wrong with taking profits off the table, well done. | opaldouglas
16/8/2013 15:54 | Think I will hold and see what happens Monday, despite a few larger sales the stock still is well bid for, tends to rush up in the morning and drift a bit in the afternoon. | 29howard
16/8/2013 12:28 | Well done guys, locked in some profits yesterday on a doubler from 0.32 to 0.65, still retain a small holding. Thought they were absurdly valued in the 0.2/0.3's after the results but it seem that peeps have finally cottoned on, thought they might have been subject to predatory interest on the cheap. Regards | charmer1_23
16/8/2013 12:27 | mm short of stock, sell 1 million buy 150k at 0.7p, they need help but any sale is just met with more buying. | 29howard
16/8/2013 12:20 | Looks like 0.7p is going to break, after that they might well chase it to 0.8-0.9p | 29howard
16/8/2013 12:20 | good to hear. Just sitting and watching my money go oooop and oooop albeit a little late on the train at 0.49 and more yesterday at 0.58 :-) | ryan83
16/8/2013 12:11 | Been trading this all week and making fantastic profits on it, without it the week would have been a washout just like the weather outside my window. Can it go to 1p and more, well everything seems to be going nuts and at least XPS is backed by some half decent fundamentals compared with the dross that is going through the roof. | 29howard
16/8/2013 12:04 | it might be easy to get! | ryan83
16/8/2013 08:14 | 1p might not be easy to get. If they start accumulating price will go up | vyke82
16/8/2013 06:30 | Could just shut or sell off the Expansys Retail divisions and be left with DSNS and PJ media making over £4m per annum minus | lbo |
