Volex benefiting from the diversity of their different customer sectors, with medical and complex industrial having their moment in the sun compared with the EV sector which I see as a temporary pause.

I've just had a dividend notification from DividendMax claiming VLX is going ex tomorrow for the interim dividend, but giving no declaration date. I can't find any RNS that mentions it, or on the VLX website. And the amount looks wrong for the interim div, same div as the final. Anyone else seen it, or got any info?

I suspect it may be a mistake. Though they did go ex of the interim div around this time last year.

Amount: 2.6p
Dividend Type: Interim
Ex-Dividend Date: Thursday November 23 2023
Pay Date: Friday December 15 2023

EDIT - MAYBE INCORRECT INFO FROM DIVIDEND MAX!!

Yep, nothing to lose sleep over imo. DSM should do an orderly wind up as they want to return maximum value to holders. Just noticed they're knee deep in RGD which is in big trouble. Begs the question that they may need to sell off others to compensate! VLX at £547m cap shouldn't cause any issues here with their holding but nothing is guaranteed imo

Thanks for that, was just looking at that news and potential sell off here. But their holdings from the last RNS was less than 3% (think it was in 2021) and they are not listed as major shareholders from various sources I've looked at.From their interim results the value of the VLX stock was £3.31m as at end August. Looking at the share price on that day the median was about 323p, so a mk cap of circa £492m, thus their holding represents about 0.7%, so not particularly something to lose sleep over??.

DSM doing an orderly wind up. VLX is their biggest holding valued at ~£3m.



No idea of how they propose to dispose their stake. Maybe find another II buyer.

Data + Flooring sales in the first nine months were up 8% and up by 3% in the third quarter. Data centre activity continues to drive performance with an extraordinary pipeline of activity as we look to the years ahead.
