24/8/2023 19:14 | Ijamlon - Sounds like you want jam on both sides of your bread! I think VLX probably fills the bill quite well for EV. On the data centres there are a number of options but one that is probably not too expensive atm is RCN because it has recently acquired a company that had not hedged its electricity requirements, so given that cost and the inevitable amortisations that follow a takeover, it is showing a statutory loss. However, the prospects for the current year (FY2024) are better and for 2025 look positively good. For good measure you could add in CNIC, a play on internet traffic - domain management and monetisation of intelligence data acquired from traffic analysis (I think - it's all a bit technical for my brain!). On its cash flow figures it looks uncommonly good value but statutory profit is impacted again by the non-cash write down of acquired intangibles. Apologies to others for veering o/t. | boadicea
24/8/2023 11:11 | If only there was a UK stock to buy that benefits from the massive growth in both data centres and EV | ijamlon

10/8/2023 08:36 | Chartwise it looks like a breakout, a backtested that included the fill of yesterdays gap up and then an extremely positive reaction. I honestly think this looks like the start of a big, sustainable uptrend | donald pond
10/8/2023 08:32 | ali - VLX share price went up on no news... and when there was some good news, it did nothing (went down a bit). Sooooooo, it seems some people knew the good news beforehand and bought. Then, when the good news was actually released (yesterday), the folk who knew already, sold and made some quick money. That's the reasoning... For me, I'm just pleased my biggest holding is totally on the right track. | dougmachin
10/8/2023 07:35 | how do you know ther is alek and what kind igo | ali47fish |
