05/5/2023 06:56 | Inductive charging is the future for the automobile industry. I'm aware that a large German car manufacturer has already signed a contract with a privately owned inductive charging company and the first car it will be rolled out on is an SUV (their best selling model). And I'm safely informed that another ca 10 large (all big names) automobile companies are queuing up to sign contracts with this company too. Does inductive charging for cars change anything for Volex (EV exposure wise)? | simmsc

03/5/2023 11:58 | Good to see some upwards momentum in the share price. Shows what a difficult market we are in when a growth company like this continues to outperform expectations but doesn't see it reflected in the share price. I'm hoping positive results in June will see us push through the 300p on beyond into the mid 300s | aeu97137

28/4/2023 10:19 | GLG partners have reduced their short position from 0.78% to 0.65% on 26th April. | mfhmfh
27/4/2023 15:35 | A bit annoyed at myself not buying a few, hopefully another opportunity. | essentialinvestor
27/4/2023 15:34 | The contract announced today represents over 20% of EV sales. It also confirms the broadening of the EV product set beyond charging to on-car components. "In addition, we have successfully expanded beyond Mode 2 EV charging cables (or "grid cords") onto specialised "on car" connectors, complex high voltage assemblies and wire harnesses for use inside the vehicle, increasing our total sales opportunities in the EV market." | valhamos
27/4/2023 15:09 | Agree, they really need to update more regularly between Oct/Nov and April, particularly given the current market conditions.....not good enough IMO. Think that's why the share price drifted and the worst was expected. | disc0dave45
27/4/2023 11:49 | Nice to see some traction this morning. Hopefully 230p will be the low here for the foreseeable! | johndoe23
27/4/2023 10:09 | I added post the trading update. Company being silent for 5 months didn't help sentiment I guess. Terrific update and a good EV win today. Will keep adding more on dips. | aishah
27/4/2023 09:42 | The Mexican automotive sector stands to benefit from the US Inflation Reduction Act, good for Volex to be involved. | blusteradjuster
27/4/2023 08:23 | I think this is Toyota pickup trucks, just as they start making their EV product (being launched next year). So, it’s nice, but won’t be that significant until volume/ adoption ramps up. Toyota will carry on making petrol pickups mainly. So, positive news, but not yet huge. Like others, I see reason for optimism tho, as Volex have grown their EV product sales so fast. Within a couple of years this should be helping that continue. It’s almost certainly a growth market even in a recession. | ymaheru
27/4/2023 08:21 | The market fundamentals are a lot more challenging at the moment but this will inevitably pass. On pretty much every metric this a bigger more profitable faster growing company than it was when the share price was near £5 | ijamlon
27/4/2023 08:06 | Yep, AIM is just dreadful at the moment, isn't it?! Should be 280-300p here, at least thus low price gives an opportunity to add at a decent price. | johndoe23
27/4/2023 07:42 | This market is completely pants, it doesn't matter what RNS the company puts out, very few are interested... | igoe104
27/4/2023 07:33 | Sounds like they're spreading their product offering beyond just charging cables and are also fabricating cabling assemblies for inside EV's... A massive growth vertical in itself. | owenski
27/4/2023 06:49 | Nice ittle contract win. That re-emphasises the reason for my investment in this company. Eventually Mr Market will wake up to the quality of the operation and the forward momentum and kick the share price upwards to more acceptale levels. red | redartbmud
27/4/2023 06:42 | Lovely jubbly- why I invested in Volex. | siggs44
27/4/2023 06:28 | RNS: Volex (AIM: VLX), the specialist integrated manufacturer of critical power and data transmission products, is pleased to announce it has secured a major new contract win with a leading, global North American-based automotive manufacturer to supply advanced Electric Vehicle ("EV") power products from its manufacturing facility in Tijuana, Mexico. The annualised revenues arising from this contract are expected to exceed $30 million, with full production anticipated to commence during the 2024 calendar year. Should see more shorts having to buy-to-close today after such good news! | adorling |
