This is nothing at all to worry about. With further news the share price will more than double from here over the next few weeks.

With £604k raised from the Korean sale and £615k raised from this placing the accounts will now be signed off as a going concern.

At 0.125p and 1.5 billion shares the market cap is still only £1.9 million.

When was that company incorporated? Posted By Terrance Barkan, Monday, October 25, 2021With the lifting of campus access restrictions for semester one, we had the first opportunity earlier this month to present trophies to the winning teams from both the 2020 and 2021 Eli and Britt Harari Graphene Enterprise competitions. The trophies were presented by Tony Walker, the Deputy Director of the Masood Entrepreneurship Centre, and Ray Gibbs, Commercialisation Director at The University of Manchester's Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC).?University physics alumnus, Dr. Eli Harari, the founder of Sandisk,  funded the competition prize at Manchester with the aim of developing scientific entrepreneurs who are breaking new ground by developing the commercial prospects of graphene and related 2D materials. The award winners then continue to be assisted in developing their ventures by the University, supported by the Masood Entrepreneurship Centre and GEIC,  providing technical advice and facilities, business guidance and mentoring and support with securing additional funding. Two winning teams have recently been supported in securing  funding from InnovateUK's Innovation-to-Commercialisation of University Research (ICURe) programme. Graphene Green Concrete Limited, founded by Robert Ataria and Niting Zeng and the team from CATALight 2D Technologies both secured £30,000 of funding to 'get out of the lab' and validate their commercially-promising ideas in the marketplace.Graphene Green Concrete Ltd. aim to make high performance graphene recycled aggregate concrete. This transformative approach will look to develop formulations for specific construction applications, to drastically improve the rate of using recycled aggregate concrete in high value applications without environmentally demanding processes of carbon footprint for new constructions.https://www.thegraphenecouncil.org/blogpost/1501180/382390/Celebrating-Manchester-s-pioneering-graphene-entrepreneurs?hhSearchTerms=%22%22Graphene+Green+Concrete+Ltd%22%22&terms=Robert commented; "The ability to engage in a proper market validation journey of any innovation with stakeholders in the sector is critical for a successful start-up. Graphene Green Concrete Limited is currently in discussions with a key customer about a demonstration project using our innovation as a first step toward commercialization."

It does appear VRS were part of the team working with United Utilities and Graphene Green Concrete.

Kaz Kundi is the Principal Carbon Engineer for United Utilities

"What an absolute pleasure it has been to partner with The University of Manchester, Meini Su, Yong Wang, Sapphire Utility Solutions Ltd, Versarien® plc and Levidian to bring graphene green concrete to life over the course of this innovation lab."

The team have worked relentlessly over the last 6 months to optimise mixtures, conduct lab testing and undertake a demonstrative pour (despite Januray weather!) at our innovation centre. I'm very proud of what we have achieved so far and can't wait to see what's next for our circular economy, graphene enhanced concrete!"

Meini Su - Senior Lecturer in Structural Engineering, School of Engineering, The University of Manchester and Theme Leader of Safer Infrastructure, Thomas Ashton Institute

"Thank you Kaz and all other colleagues! It has been a pleasure to work with United Utilities, Sapphire, Levidian and Versarien on this demonstration project!"

I think you'll find those are just samples on their website for any manufacturer interesting in testing or producing the graphene products in mass. Not aware they have any manufacturing facilities to produce two tons worth.

They do sell graphene and graphene ink, but not expected to be the mainstay of the business. Machine technology and ip on site will be the main money maker. Royalties there after :-)

fuji99 -"So how many "tiny amounts" will they sell"

They don't sell anything. They licence out their IP. It is the construction companies that manufacture the graphene admixture. In the same way VRS just announced its licenced out its Graphink to Montana.

PWhite: "Graphene Green Concrete, based at the University of Manchester, is a sustainable concrete material which adds a tiny amount of graphene admixture,..." I can see that graphene is making concrete changing colour to "green", isn't it ? I am convinced it has a chameleon characterisitc. So how many "tiny amounts" will they sell to match the monthly revenue of a corner shop selling buttermilk and onion bhajis ?

countbasie1 - "Bad end to a promising day share price wise."

Agreed up 32% down 8%. I posted earlier one has to ignore these gyrations it's just MMs, day traders, shorters and possibly forward sold placing stock.

The only thing that will sustain a share price rise is commercial traction for their graphene products and services.

squire007 - "United utilities sniffing :-)"

An unfounded rumour. Irrespective lots of companies would be interested in graphene at the moment. Last November United Utilities announced a tie up with Graphene Green Concrete who are based at Manchester University where VRS also has a base.

"Graphene Green Concrete, based at the University of Manchester, is a sustainable concrete material which adds a tiny amount of graphene admixture, to enable recycled aggregates from demolished concrete constructions to be reused on the same site in new construction without compromising on cost and performance of the construction."
