Kk,

Not looking for an argument, rather genuinely curious.

Why didn't you ever give any credence to those of us who called this out as worthless years ago?

A buyout price of about £10 million would be about right at the moment. £2 million for the current market cap. £5 million for the money owed to Innovate UK and £3 million for the money owed to Santander.

Verger: A MCAP of @ £10M would not be unreasonable for starters.....

‘Priced to go bust’. I agree that that has been the case. But now it will start being priced ‘for recovery’. What kind of a re-rating might we expect?

It wasn't knowingly oversold. It deserved to be priced to go bust given its history and its inability to commercialise anything. Fingers crossed things appear to have changed for the better.

sj - Exactly which means less dilution. However as I posted earlier although VRS has stated it needed further funding it may not necessarily come by way of a diluted discount placing. It would not have escaped the notice of larger players in the graphene arena that two of their IP patents have recently been put to commercial use and one with a Brazilian multinational.

This is still early days for graphene and all major construction and industrial companies are interested in low carbon materials that are an improvement to what's currently on the market.

Call me a ramping so and so but don't rule out a takeover for VRS due to its low market cap.

Even better when grants arrive, reducing the need for a fundraise.

And the longer they give themselves to try and raise the price, the more they can get for their 500mill new shares.

It won't be the 29th March this year as they have to give a minimum 21 days notice for an AGM.

Does anyone here know when the last date is that VRS can make a placing and for how many shares, without calling an extraordinary meeting?

"VRS advises they had been selected by the Department of Business to accompany them on a trip to Texas to export British business." Let's hope it's as successful as that jaunt abroad with May.
