16/3/2024 00:43 | fuji99, I think you have made your point many times over. The company has been on its knees (I choose my tense carefully) and many people have lost a lot of money. You and others seem to delight in their misfortune and just want to keep grinding past-investors' noses into the ground. The fact that you derive pleasure from this and seem to spend every waking hour coming up with some clever zombie quip says a lot about you. After what has been an exceedingly bleak couple of years here, I like to think that VRS has finally turned a corner - the previous over-exuberant hype has now been replaced by a trimmer corporate entity, business pragmatism and clearly reported facts. The CEO's latest Proactive interview bears testimony to this and certainly suggests that VRS isn't dead and buried just yet. I also think that many hitherto nasty bar-stewards on this thread know that the company has been turned around and are adjusting their portfolios accordingly - silence can sometimes be very revealing! All of that aside, Allez l'Angleterre, demain! | senden11

15/3/2024 19:25 | The irony is that at the time I couldn’t afford it - or perhaps more specifically couldn’t afford to take the risk (no court case is ever absolutely certain). Now, following the failure of my near 24-year marriage - in part due to the stress of the case - and the sale of the family home, I do have the money to pursue such a case. If the SFO investigate and charge / convict Ricketts, you can be sure I’ll be on for Round 2… | sloppyjoe2
15/3/2024 19:21 | PWhite - well I was already in for £20k (some of that paid for by the generosity of strangers), and it would have cost at least that much to move to an initial High Court hearing. Hire of a barrister, time for him and the solicitors to prepare the case, the court costs... so maybe £50k just to get to an initial High Court hearing. I agree with you - had the case gone to court I am convinced that I would have won, but... | sloppyjoe2
15/3/2024 17:53 | The real message for the zombies who will never learn the lesson again is this one: "OK let's prentend nothing has happened and just close your blind stupid eyes to forget the share price plunged from 185p to nothing for no reason - Focus on the activities again, everybody is traveling but not selling anything because the turnaround comedie is not fininished yet. You'll be rewarded by endless already prepared RNS's very soon. So let's forget the doom and gloom and prepare for another fund raise" - Then read my lips, you ain't seen nothing yet". This is the full picture I get from cunning "Tartuffe". | fuji99
15/3/2024 17:09 | PWhite "Anyone can bring a case if they've got loads of money (particularly other people's money) but it is the High Court that will decide if your case has any merit at the outset." Yes - but do you have any idea how much it costs to even get to the High Court? | sloppyjoe2
15/3/2024 17:04 | Bar room chat aside, would an action brought for defamation now even get off the ground? For an action to succeed, the plaintiff must show that they have suffered damage to their reputation, and that the damage has resulted in financial loss. Given all that has happened since Ricketts launched his action against me a few years ago, the question is: does he any longer have a reputation to be damaged? | sloppyjoe2

15/3/2024 12:22 | What's coming down the track. Will April see fools rush in? Will the additives help cement the future? | fireball xl5
15/3/2024 11:32 | This interview went a lot better than the last one. There is a visit to South Korea in April and Montana staff will be coming to VRS in the UK for training. The turnaround strategy is clearly in full swing now. It's important to note where possible the CEO is divulging the initial financial terms and conditions of any agreements. In the old days the message to shareholders would have been:- RNS 1234 - "VRS signs deal with Brazil's biggest paint manufacturer" and that would have been it. The CEO is being transparent and honest in revealing the small nature of the initial signings whilst at the same time advising shareholders of the need for additional funding. | pwhite73
15/3/2024 11:10 | Once everything is sold, what are they going to do with the money ? Pay debt ? Then how are they going to make money if they rely on a few pennies coming from "IP" ? They won't cover ever one single salary. Do you really think there is a company in any form or shape ? A corner shop selling samozas and butter milk will do far better. | fuji99

15/3/2024 08:25 | "Following a fruitful 2-day visit from Montana Química's CEO Andreas von Salis and CTO Walter Nakagawa to our graphene manufacturing site in Gloucestershire, we are delighted to have entered into licencing agreements to support Montana's ambitions with developing innovative products leveraging Versarien® plc proprietary Graphinks™ technology. These agreements perfectly align with Versarien® plc's vision of leveraging intellectual property and know-how through strategic partnerships that hopefully opens doors for Montana Química to harness graphene's potential in paints, coatings, and lubricants, tapping into Brazil's burgeoning markets." That they travelled from Brazil to Gloucester to meet face to face with VRS says a lot. | pwhite73
14/3/2024 23:55 | 1 year has gone since my last posts, and the shares are almost worthless now 0.14p Not even the new management can managed to pump up the stock. Good luck to the holders, they need it | cielos
14/3/2024 23:15 | lol - as dim and deluded as ever. I suggest you look at the $150M Samsung just paid to nanoco for infringing their patents - bent from top to bottom. Or perhaps Samsung isn't big enough or Korean enough for you? Prompt have done nothing - either totally useless or just a Potemkin front to hide the chaos behind. Good to hear even Hodges admits he's out of his depth. Question is, what has he done about it? Answer: zip. | supernumerary |
