PWhite, you are deliberately missing the point that Clubbie is making.The defamation case was entirely winnable by Ian, and only the power of Rickett's spending power forced Ian to fold. If the SFO investigation finds evidence of criminal activity, then the things Clubbie accused him of will be proved to be correct. They were perfectly well justified in any case, but this will put a seal on it.

You previously stated that VRS did not pay for their trip to Texas, can you please point me to where they stated that please?

The way these theings normally work is that participating companies pay their own way, the UK governement doesn't pay!

If memory serves me correct they weren't your solicitors they were ours. The ones who crowdfunded your legal fees including myself.

Aside from that it's unclear to me how an SFO investigation into the unlawful solicitation of public funds would have an effect on a defamation case that was settled out of court.

He was acting on behalf of the company , silence of others while he was CEO speaks volumes.
