"He said the China deal (in its many forms has been almost there for almost 18 months" And yet as we learned today they're still nowhere close. Not sorted the remote control of the machines, still not fully persuaded of IP protection, and the issue of valuation still seems to be live. After two whole years.

Collaboration = NDA, Discussions, Testing. Then commercial discussions.
Listen to the podcast

@luminoso but he's said all sorts of things on podcasts that clearly are not true eg the 3T machine being flat out yet no sales.

We can trust an RNS more and so when an RNS declares a collaboration all we can say is an NDA has been signed and discussions opened.

I suppose "advanced stages" is highly subjective. 2 more years? 10 more? Size of order? He said the China deal (in its many forms) has been almost there for almost 18 months.

An over-engineered answer is not an answer; far from creating a monopoly with first mover advantage, it seems to have given all of the advantages to the collaborators, who can be assuredthat as long as they are in a relationship with Versarien, no other rival can come up on the inside. For all the protestations of non-exclusivity, they would still get to be told...and this itself is creating the inertia perhaps. Maybe it has bred client complacency as an unintended consequence of this policy. Now is the time to go for offering exclusivity before it is too late and light up this new market.

If anyone listens to the podcast, they will hear what he actually said and realise what lies are being peddled here. So listen.

Hasn't NR said the opposite? Didn't he say he was going to sell 25% to BIGT? Maybe that was just to increase the share price and sell his own shares into the spike that created the same day?

Neill said this about collaborations. They sign an NDA, they have a chat ..yes ................AND then they discuss what applications the Nanene can have in the business you are talking to, AND they then test the product extensively, and then after successful testing, they move on to commercial discussions. He has said the process is very advanced in the frontline 5 projects and advancing well in the forty or so collaborations behind the 5 in the queue.

So to try and claim that all he said was “ sign an NDA and have a chat “ is dishonest, childish, and a laughable attempt to mislead.

Pathetic

Clubbie.....NR mentions that Versarien will not be sold and common sense must also prevail when the UK government is also behind the company so that also goes against the grain regarding the sale of Versarien........ so the point and question I’m getting at is why have you increased your holding of recent when you appear to have no faith in NR??????
Happy new year to all 🚀🚀🚀

I have to make my John le Carre last til just before midnight so back here.Things to happen after the sixth January say I in an earlier "contribution". Princes of Industry not all back from ski ing til then. Meeting rooms not booked til the 7th or 8th Board sign offs even later.Against which the US doesn't take Boxing Day , I'm not sure about Korea Japan or China and these days TCP/IP links us much faster than things used to. We don't need a board meeting to accept orders. We can counter sign things too I guess ? PDFs and all. And Versarien key players can form quora in an instant. I'd be surprised if nothing lands by Monday 14th. I wouldn't be surprised by something as early as the 7th.Doubt we'll be in any tip-sheets and not concerned if we're not.Just thinking out loud. One out of five. That one will get us to a Unicorn, over time. It's in the fabric. Enjoy 2020. To the max.

Let the I.P. be stolen by the Chinese...Nothing else much is happening at present. Companies fail because cash is always king. All of a sudden loads of new products on the market incorporating V.R.S. graphene efficaciously and selling - for which V.R.S. can tap the newly expanded market to compete with China in the West and worldwide in these proven graphene-enhanced sectors. If the Chinese have produced a glut of fantastic new products, thenthere will be no end of companies' interest. Plus, there'll be £20 mill. in the bank plus another couple of mill. patent breach damages. Manufacturers now wantinggraphene. The price may come down a lot but V.R.S. will have the consolation of the £20mill. in the bank. Maybe it's the Chinese year of the cuckoo.

"Anyone else think Ricketts was sounding desperate on today’s interview?"

No not desperate. Just the same old jam tomorrow story to support the share price for the inevitable next raise or another sale of his own shares.

Neill is great at promoting the shares. He's not daft it's a lot easier to sell a story to a load of punters who will bid the share price up on jam tomorrow stories of future success than actually create sales for their products.

If VRS was close to significant sales he'd keep his head down and just deliver sales not mouth off constantly on any financial paid for promotional channel that would have him.

The 3T a year machine has been in operation now for nearly a year producing what is supposed to be the best quality GnP in the world for customers desperate for it. Yet during this time they've sold just a few Kg and refuse to disclose its dollar value.

Happy New Year everyone.
