Hard to disagree with loglorry. "The new head of US operations is virtually absent and he hasn't even updated his linked in page to show he works at VRS last time I looked." Really? I didn't know that, but it's appalling if true. Anyone else think Ricketts was sounding desperate on today's interview?

I'm afraid all this global expansion BS is just BS. The US has been virtually silent since Patrick Abbott was let go for not disclosing he was up on financial fraud charges. The global US hub turned out to be just a Regus business centre. The new head of US operations is virtually absent and he hasn't even updated his linked in page to show he works at VRS last time I looked.

Depends on the price, doesn't it? How many s'holders would turn down an offer of, say, £35 a share right now in cold hard cash? That's a MC of roughly £5bn. Weighed against Ricketts' dubious promises of delivery - after a 'mind-blowing' year of failing to do exactly that - I suspect a large majority would gladly take the money and move on.

Re china being as far off as ever, I have though for some time that we aught to drop the Chinese altogether for a while and put the energy into opportunities in the Western markets. There is too much political danger however well talks go and now we are out of the EU we will be blown this way and that by the prevailing winds from the US. More fools us but we have to make the best of a bad situation re. trade.

Any bid at this stage would be unwelcome as it'd be far too low. The future value of this business (in my humble opinion) will be stratospheric.....

".. Neill states he will not be selling the business.."

It isn't up to him. He doesn't own it.
From his interview comments I guess he is confident that enough other shareholders would back him in rejecting an unwelcome bid.

Yeah, tell China that if they want VRS graphene they'll just have to buy the company...

I think we should just tell China we don't need them.We have more than ample opportunities elsewhere

If Nanene is so valuable they'd be able to produce it in the UK and sell it there or in Europe. Once that market was established they could look elsewhere. Nobody has shown the slightest interest in buying it other than tiny volumes in earbuds sold on an Ebay shop by a company which nearly went bust last year. Oh and a few KG of test material elsewhere.

Neill says quite clearly in the year end podcast that a collaboration is an NDA signature and an introductory chat. Presumably that's why they go no further.

It's the same old AIM ramp and suck in a few hopeful mugs.

Nanene has to be the worlds most valuable material that nobody wants to buy!

So far all I have seen are some ear buds which there are about a thousand varieties to chose from, so good luck with that saturated market. Other graphene companies are making millions from actual sales but there seems to be nothing but talk coming from this one.
