Had a splendid dinner last night with friends, conversations were almost exclusively focused on Versarien, never lowering themselves to Brexit. We discussed all the recent achievements and progress made and think we’re in for quite a ride in the coming weeks as the Big 5 start to drop and China progresses. Neill and the team are doing a fantastic job. We unanimously agreed that Versarien is a screaming buy at the current price and concluded this current weakness is purely driven by a couple of large holders flipping into high risk stocks like TERN (lol) and manipulating and even coordinating selling behind the scenes. We think they are all but out and next week will mark a significant up tick in share price ready for lift off. Sentiment round the table was extremely positive which is echoed around the virtual groups that I am apart of with fellow shareholders

Trying to remember why Chris Leigh went to China last time, I would guess that he won't be there on his own , was it to sign something?

O/T TERN in typical fundraise mode by the look of it, put out a rumour , suck in gullible buyers as the price rises and then announce, seen it so many times on AIM, shorters will be waiting in the wings so be wary!

Beijing Graphene Research Institute's first anniversary: building a world-leading graphene research and development platform

2019-10-26 07:16

"Beijing Graphene Research Institute will shoulder the heavy responsibility given by the times, practice the spirit of artisans, integrate government and industry research, and build the core competitiveness of the future graphene industry!" One year ago, the Beijing Graphene Research Institute (BGI), a new research and development institution promoted by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, was officially inaugurated. Liu Zhongfan, dean of the Beijing Graphene Research Institute and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, still spoke in the ear.
The “Beijing Road Graphene Research Institute, which has the technical high ground to seize the future graphene industry and build a globally competitive and sustainable graphene industry aircraft carrier, has embarked on a new development. Journey.

Headline from The Times/Sunday Times online today...

Security services fear the march of Beijing’s spies on universities

MI5 and GCHQ have warned universities to put national security before commercial interest as fears grow over state theft of research and intellectual property from campuses. The agencies are concerned that a reliance on Chinese money and students, particularly postgraduates paying up to £50,000 a year in fees, makes some universities...

If it was your average CEO it would be banal, but when NR speaks, he speaks so well and it actually works.

Not much happening with the share price at the moment. Those of us who captured the big move from the teens are happy and sitting comfortable.

The share price action will speed up once again at some point.

The 3rd page (906) highlights VRS and the Aecom arch but also talks about the 6000 suppliers in China which is basically wild west at the moment.

It was written before Denis Koltsov's visit to China regarding Nanotech standards and the current probable agreement to adopt the already written ISO.

Thanks Iain. Cracking read. It’s worth noting that when Terrance cited James baker’s “We believe Graphene Commercialisation will reach a critical tipping point over the next 12-18months” he said that 12 months ago. I’ll let you do the maths :-)

Versarien duly mentioned as supplier for the Aecom arch in that piece.. but nobody reading the whole report is likely to deduce that Versarien is in any way ahead of other names mentioned.
