whatever
we are being slowly walked down and it will contine until there is substantive news
by that time who knows how much it will have been discounted. it could add another year to reach £1
that may be okay for you younguns but my timelines are somewhat shorter.
i estimate two years at most for my dribble to stay warm but i may be wrong.

Billwave, I can't get involved in that daily listing. It's too depressing to be reminded, I like to blot out trauma from my life.

supernumerary, from the PolyGraph page:

"However it remains the case that there are no techniques suitable for industrial-scale production of graphene-reinforced polymers.

Specifically, the following issues remain:

Current graphene production processes are typically low yield, energy intensive, time consuming and often use large amounts of solvent - as a result, the cost of graphene remains prohibitively expensive for many industries
Incorporation and uniform distribution of graphene in low-viscosity thermosetting polymers has NOT yet been demonstrated on an industrial scale
Conventional composite, coating and adhesive processing techniques have NOT yet been optimised to ensure that graphene remains uniformly distributed during processing."

And while on the subject of getting facts out there for the purpose of maintaining balance. Since VRS's admission to AIM on 12/06/2013 there have been a staggering 374 items of news released, an unprecedented 51 of those were deemed non-regulatory by the nominated broker and hence released purely for promotional purposes. Read the 38 points listed and pinned in the header, numerous collaborations dating back to 20/04/2016. Here we are 1000's of suggestive tweets and dozens of exuberant interviews later with nothing but a handful of unachieved deadlines to show for it. Perhaps we should take turns at daily listing one of the points in the header coupled with an update including exactly what each of those has achieved for VRS regarding a contribution to orders, sales and revenue? Again I could save people the trouble because the sum contribution from them all combined is pretty much the same, virtually nothing. Almost inconceivable. How long can this diabolical state of affairs continue without testing the resolve of even the most dedicated investor?

As you're so well read and I'm sure generous of spirit, perhaps you would care to point me to the site which shows that it has a product equivalent to Polygrene for sale....

Why don't you do some of that famed 'research' and look at the Polygraph project in detail? It's allowing yourself to be spoon-fed that's left you so unaware of what's really happening in the graphene world.

schmally - I think the Chinese are running rings round Ricketts - for a start he doesn't speak Mandarin, so much of what they say or write will be beyond him. And they've spent decades (possibly millennia :)) negotiating complex deals, while Ricketts has only ever managed flaccid agreements to agree with no deliverables, no timescales, no commitments and no money attached.

Let's face it, he's not very bright is he? Six years of unremitting failure to deliver even a single substantial order from (at least, depending on how you define it) 4 businesses - copper foam, AAC Cyroma, Total Carbide, and the various graphene odds and sods.

The Patrick Abbott fiasco was typical - never made any sense at all - you only had to look at the front page of his website to see he was an idiot. And Ricketts put him in charge in the US.

Now even the bits of the business that were supposed to fund the future nanomaterials developments - AAC and TC - are also losing money. So what sort of a business model is that? Certainly not the one he claims it to be.

As for whether he's misleading investors, I think he's misleading himself, and the 'investors' merely follow him. Does he tell lies? Possibly not knowingly, although the number of his statements that have never come to pass allows lots of room for legitimate doubt, but what he certainly doesn't do is tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Look back at all the agreements of various sorts he's signed. Many of them are dead, probably most, certainly all the copper foam ones, but has he ever delivered a mea culpa? No, so far as I can see there has never been an announcement that a relationship has ended, yet there must have been dozens of them that either never started or produced absolutely nothing of value. There are sins of omission as well as sins of commission, you know.

Interesting and look like they are quite involved in graphene and its applications. As will be several others. Notwithstanding this and their china links it is worth noting that china appear to be leaning towards versarien. The award won by Avanzare was for the entire company, graphene is a division and my interpretation would be predominantly one that is mainly at R&D stage but could be wrong. This from the graphene division s website ... Additionally, thanks to our extensive know-how on this material characteristics and preparation methods we offer tailor-made graphene grades in which the aforementioned features and other characteristics, such as micro or mesoporosity, can be modified to better suit our customer's applications needs.Within our available grades, we have a range whose production and features follow strict characterization control protocols. They are suitable for research purposes and very specific applications' developments that have very demanding requirements in terms features accuracy: oxygen content, lateral size, average thickness, etc. Their nowadays prices and minimum order quantities are in line with the aforementioned aspects, nevertheless the drop in prices of these graphene grades will continue as we progress in their scaling-up process. We also have a second range of industrial grades, very similar to the ones characterized in our catalogue, whose production is in an advance scale up process. In these grades the control measures over their features: oxygen content, number of layers etc. are not so strict. They are suitable for those applications that don't required that accuracy level, but which are more price sensitive, and closer to the market. These materials current demand is mainly driven by R&D and some of the most promising applications are related to electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. The values reached depend a lot on the polymer matrix in which they are introduced, dosage used, quality of the dispersion, graphene or graphene/graphite nanoplatelets used, etc.

Your missing your vocation Loggy, you should be a politician. None of what you have said in any way addresses my simple questions. You have clearly implied in previous posts that you believe BIGT is some fictional organisation and that investors are being mislead. Therefore, answer my questions.

Do you believe BIGT exists Y/N? If not, then do you believe Neill is deliberately misleading investors (which would be equate to fraud)?.

Or do you believe the Chinese are misleading VRS? Y/N.

top beating around the bush and state clearly what you believe. Sorry if the questions are too hard for you lad.

woody - what about Avanzare? Named by the Graphene Flagship as 'the European leader in graphene':

Their comprehensive graphene catalogue is here:

You will note they were part of the Flagship Polygraph project, which, having completed in 2017, will have undoubtedly left them with composite production capabilities:

But I'm sure you knew all that from Ellisj's posts about avanzare, where he made it pretty clear they had good aviation experience?

Pity the gerbil hasn't clocked it though - it might have saved him the trouble of waffling on about vrs being the only company that could meet the GICE EU aircraft heating spec. In my opinion this order is most likely to go to avanzare, although Ferrari says there are lots of companies in Europe that can produce graphene at scale, so I guess there are a number of candidates.

Of course the whole GICE order is only worth €350k over 3 years, so it's hardly worth getting out of bed for anyway :)

Lucky there's a humungous Chinese order coming along imminently!

sells far outweighing buys again today. sure as hell doesn't look like a company going to drop HUGE, STAGGERING or MIND-BLOWING deals any time soon. Or ever, under the current CEO.
