16/9/2019 11:01 | More likely to have nada than NDA. | rainbow23
16/9/2019 10:47 | John, "A number of posters here over the weekend were implying that things have been moving forward beneath the surface under NDA's etc and that sounds perfectly reasonable." It certainly does, but it's also possible they are making excuses for a lack of deals so far, when in fact there's nothing to suggest such NDA's exist. I would expect VRS to announce something even if they do not mention the name of the company concerned, in the event of an NDA being signed. | andy
16/9/2019 10:45 | So as far as I can see a major consequence of BIGT not being concluded by the agm 'deadline' is potentially less dilution. Boo flipping hoo. | runthejoules
16/9/2019 10:15 | On the wider picture I see no reason to believe the narrative is not continuing to move forward. It may be taking longer than some would like, myself included, but that is a problem with my expectation and not Versarien's progress. A number of posters here over the weekend were implying that things have been moving forward beneath the surface under NDA's etc and that sounds perfectly reasonable. If the dots that were linked are correct that would be great, but I would like to see evidence not speculation. All in all happy to hold and hope to see some of you at the AGM next week. | johnveals
16/9/2019 10:14 | "There is no "AGM deadline"! BIGT will be working to achieve the best deal possible for themselves, and nothing more. It does not concern them that VRS have an upcoming AGM one iota. VRS are working to achieve the same thing for their shareholders, and the deal will complete when it's ready, not because of some upcoming AGM." So why did Ricketts even mention it then? Because he can't keep his gob shut, that's why, and feels the need to keep justifying his total non-delivery... | club sandwich
16/9/2019 10:13 | "could it be that at the last minute, someone realised that there are no i's and t's in the chinese alphabet :)" nice one centurion... | club sandwich
16/9/2019 10:10 | DT Well explained by johnveals. But some nervous ones that think a week or two difference be it before or after is highly relevant. You know the type, they exist on all busy shares. | superg1
16/9/2019 10:10 | DTaliadoros16 Sep '19 - 09:00 - 78533 of 78536 0 0 0 Not sure I understand the implication of BiGT missing the AGM deadline. ------- There is no "AGM deadline"! BIGT will be working to achieve the best deal possible for themselves, and nothing more. It does not concern them that VRS have an upcoming AGM one iota. VRS are working to achieve the same thing for their shareholders, and the deal will complete when it's ready, not because of some upcoming AGM. If they could complete it just before the AGM then they could announce it, but the fact is that both parties are working to achieve the best deal, and there isn;t a "deadline" for that. The Chinese can be difficult to negotiate with, can be very patient, and normally want to share the IP, which can be a sticking point. Companies cannot manufacture a signed deal just in time for the AGM, it's a myth | andy
16/9/2019 10:07 | could it be that at the last minute, someone realised that there are no i's and t's in the chinese alphabet :) | twatcher
16/9/2019 10:05 | DTaliadoros This is the answer to the question I think you are asking. Missing the deadline would require a new mandate at the AGM to extend the ability to create and issue 15% new shares. If those new shares went to BIGT after the AGM it would then require an EGM to authorise the BoD to issue a further 15% if another similar deal presented itself. Extending the 'franchise model' is the stated aim of Versarien to expand the company and tie in significant corporate shareholders. | johnveals
16/9/2019 09:44 | "Timing isn’t so much of a worry ,if any at all , if you think it’s 100 per cent" Having watched the first two progs of that series about China I don't think *anything* involving that country is 100% guaranteed until and unless it actually happens (and perhaps not even then). After all, much more than a year ago there were "armies of lawyers" working on a China deal. 6 months ago they were "dotting the i's and crossing the t's" - and yet six months later still no deal of any kind. Why would it arrive in the next 5 working days? But if it *doesn't*, Ricketts takes another massive hit to his credibility - if he has any left. | club sandwich
16/9/2019 09:21 | Another sad day in the fantasy life of vrs. 60p post bigtless agm and that's being optimistic. | rainbow23
16/9/2019 09:20 | Easy! It was quote hoped unquote that it would be concluded before it. Timing isn't so much of a worry ,if any at all , if you think it's 100 per cent. But it is if you have a scintilla of doubt about itHong KongNavy movementsIP riskThen you think it best be done , as hoped , some time ago. | alchemy

15/9/2019 18:09 | It's quite simple re BIGT. It de-risks VRS if it drops in, be it pre AGM or after the AGM. The pre AGM comment is down to convenience of not requiring an EGM should another country want 15% like Japan or South Korea. Representatives from both countries were present at the Aecom arch day. The China deal is a model for other countries. That was said way back and continues to be the case. | superg1
15/9/2019 16:19 | AquaeSulis Re OXB, I will post there when I can. I have guests at home for a few days and have just enough time to comment that the general situation precludes sustained rises for any small shares. I am following several very well positioned minnows, with world leads, many with SPs bumping along the bottom of their charts. Any brilliant news leads to significant up-spikes which last hardly a week, before fully retracing or even falling beyond the status ante quo. The Fibonacci retracement of approx 40% of the spike is validated with each. This indicates to me that PIs in small companies are pessimistic enough about the consequences of Brexit to take any sudden profits off the table straight away, and are shy of pre-empting the financial consequences of successful product development. Even the share price of HUR with its recent proof that all its successful wells capable of huge 10,000bbls/day each, are part of the same giant system,(the Lincoln oilfield, off the Shetlands) has spiked up from a 30 month low and is now in a 3 month down trend. Despite low interest rates, which should have led indices to theirn all time highs, most good shares are now relatively cheap......but still vulnerable (????)VRS has, in this climate, done pretty well. but WDIK? | scrutable
15/9/2019 15:28 | It was his selection of what paragraph to put at the end of the post which made me think that. He only cut out a paragraph that would make others think more positively, when the whole article was neutral | 1teepee
15/9/2019 14:57 | TP Nobody is blndly ramping. There's no indication at all of current tiny volume being raised- just note that prototypes are now satisfactory and launch is for H1 '20. It's bound to be cautious at first until sales are booked and even then several months for any volume build up. We are surely looking at least a year ahead before serious cashflows could ever be likely on this account. | scrutable
