15/9/2019 14:01 | Of course they are under an nda. Nda means a lot more than just the name of the company. | 1teepee
15/9/2019 14:00 | It may be versarien graphene, but if they done it in 2016 it isn't part of he collaboration. Unless it's ip theft | 1teepee
15/9/2019 13:59 | Always look forward to your logical and reasoned posts on here Scrutable, and could do with some of your incisive analysis on the Oxf Bio BB at the moment, cheers Aquae | aquaesulis01
15/9/2019 13:59 | Here is another paragraph. And the whole article. Stop ramping. In 2016, Tanyuan Huigu achieved its first breakthrough in using the semimetal to improve batteries' energy density. However, the firm was able to use the technology only for small devices or electric bicycles.hTTps://www | 1teepee
15/9/2019 13:51 | I hope so, but Tsungshu are not under NDA, its a collaboration. So I expected that any graphene based announcement from them would be matched by one from VRS. | festario
15/9/2019 13:49 | Hello Fest, I think quite a few companies using our graphene are using NDAs to maximum effect so they get a head start on any competition. | laginaneil
15/9/2019 13:46 | Interesting link: If you could get this sensor into phones it could be interesting sales 'pitch'. Indeed a bunch of new sensors in phones could breath a new lease of life into phone sales volumes. | laginaneil
15/9/2019 13:45 | Bit silly as polygrene already has graphene in it | 1teepee

15/9/2019 13:39 | Hmmm, someone left their short open over the weekend, which is brave. You will probably be OK as I imagine it will be later in the week, if it does happen before the AGM but can't be good for your sleep pattern. | clint fleecewood
15/9/2019 13:38 | I am sure you are correct scrutable, anything else would be quite disappointing. | rafboy
15/9/2019 13:35 | It would have been RNS'd if it was our graphene surely? It's not even been mentioned on Twitter, which it surely would be? | festario

15/9/2019 11:12 | SCRUTABLE 13 Sep '19 - 16:19 - 78476 of 78506 0 44 0 jointer Things ARE in fact coming together.... The Tungshu announced graphene battery," yep...I think this is moving along quite rapidly. thungsu. 7th nov 2018 "lipeng Wang, Chairman and CEO of Tunghsu Optoelectronic, commented: "Versarien is a leading company and operator in the graphene field in the UK. China has a huge market potential for graphene industrialisation and commercialisation. As the leading enterprise in the graphene field in China, we are very pleased to work with Versarien to promote valuable collaboration and innovation, and ultimately achieve mutual sucess." (Yicai Global) Nov. 12 -- Tunghsu Optoelectronic Technology, China's largest maker of liquid crystal glass substrates, has set up two partnerships to develop graphene technology and outline its commercial application. Tunghsu Optoelectronic signed a memorandum of understanding with the UK's University of Manchester and Hong Kong's University Graphene to Market, or UG2M, as well as a separate MoU with British listed materials maker Versarien, the Hebei province-based company said yesterday. Tunghsu will cooperate with the University of Manchester and UG2M, a graphene technology startup under the university, to evaluate the school's graphene and other related technologies and jointly plan how to make money from them. They will also coordinate resources to promote the industrialization of the university's graphene technology in China. Meanwhile, the Chinese company and Versarien will jointly develop projects based on graphene, including operations, implementation, industrialization and project upgrading, to sell and explore more products that can use graphene in China and global markets. "China has a huge market potential for graphene industrialization and commercialization," according to Tunghsu Chairman and Chief Executive Lipeng Wang. "As the leading enterprise in the graphene field in China, we are very pleased to work with Versarien to promote valuable collaboration and innovation, and ultimately achieve mutual success." To accelerate commercialization, Tunghsu and Versarien aim to partner with others to establish a graphene research institute in China and set up an industry investment fund. The two will further explore the feasibility of a bilateral strategic investment plan based on the graphene project. It is assumed that Tunghsu will provide needed financial and strategic support, while Cheltenham-based Versarienwill bring intellectual property and investment. The MoU emphasizes that technical cooperation between the two parties will focus on sectors related to their main businesses, such as high-quality graphene material preparation, photoelectric display materials, new energy vehicles, light-emitting diode lighting systems, graphene thermal management materials and flexible batteries, the statement said. 14th march 2019 moved to loi. "We are very pleased that our relationship with Tunghsu Optoelectronic has moved to the next stage with the signing of this LOI. "We have been working closely with Tunghsu Optoelectronic since November last year and we look forward to progressing our research and development activities with them with a view to ultimately establishing a joint manufacturing capability in China. "Tunghsu Optoelectronic is a leading global enterprise and we are delighted that they have recognised the quality of our graphene and wish to deepen their relationship with Versarien. sept 12th 2019. Tanyuan Huigu (tunghsu) plans to mass-produce graphene power units by the end of this year and industrial vehicles that carry this technology are expected to hit the market next year. The implementation of artificial intelligence in industrial automation will broaden the market for such types of batteries, it added. | jointer13
15/9/2019 10:08 | Morning Folks, This is an interesting article: I wondered if we could combine our conductive graphene ink with some polygrene like plastic filament for 3D printing. Maybe not as sophisticated aims as article above but simpler uses. A silly example: An aircraft 'pito' tube maybe made of aluminium and have a separate heater element. Moulded in 3D conductive plastic you would just pass the electric, to heat it, through it's bulk. I guess it's a 3D version of the heated floor covering our partners in India are working on. | laginaneil

14/9/2019 23:15 | cs Your provocation has had the opposite effect to that expected by you. My post 78476 deals with it. At 91, I do not have more than two/three years patience, even though most Break-throughs/Disru Timing of entry is crucial. Several years ago, I backed Versarien for its enterprising position in foam copper, and after 3 years moved on. Re-kindled hope via the graphene project brought me back a year ago My post 78476 states that "Things ARE in fact coming together.... The Tungshu announced graphene battery, and the Google attended @hackathon', The problems of signal processing on the Underground, and Aecom's ability to respond to them, The BIG talk of Chinese investment and the testing of graphene in textiles are all much closer to the initiation of separate trickles of future exponential cash streams, and all inspire increasing confidence after a difficult period, when it has been faltering.. It is incumbent on Neill and his team to raise confidence further with facts at/before the AGM, and I am sure they will. The glacier is now visibly moving from the starting position. That is adequate pro tem. It will now have to show increased movement by the year end - and I am sure it will. | scrutable
14/9/2019 22:11 | Just reflecting as we all perhaps do . It’s Exciting . what amazing potential , what amazing Nobel prize winning material we have .. to potentially change the future as we know it . This material certainly has this no one can disagree . Look at how far we have come , and how far we could go . It makes our progress to date a drop in the ocean . Unlimited uses . Stop look ,listen ,think and dyor . Fill in the gaps amazing what is possible with this material and it’s the only one I know of that’s been verified on the planet ? Out of this world ;-) Quite a lot of positives to focus on with this new technology . Ff | forestfred
