16/9/2019 21:51 | Vrs are not chasing the Chinese, they came to VRS. VRS have been in a process of sifting the Chinese wheat from the chaff as per the VRS presentation on their website on the topic. Criteria to determine who they would engage with which includes some of China’s biggest state owned companies. China want to start the graphene revolution, they lack the expertise, enter the UOM/GEIC/VRS. | superg1
16/9/2019 21:18 | How would they know if another event had come up roses BEFORE us. RNS and all that? | laginaneil
16/9/2019 21:12 | Unless they fixed the price already, then no need to rush ummm? | laginaneil
16/9/2019 21:08 | Melf, I would expect them to be in close contact with VRS and would know if such an event were to occur. They're the elephant in the room, not the other deals, IMO. | andy
16/9/2019 20:59 | Correct melf, VRS have a lot of irons in the fire and all it takes is one to come up roses. Then PARTY TIME 🥳 | kemorkid
16/9/2019 20:55 | Could be a dangerous strategy Andy. If Aecom or textiles lands, the share price will see a significant surge. BIGT isn’t the only iron in VRS’s fire....that’s what makes this such an exciting investment. | melf

16/9/2019 20:22 | pshevlin16 Sep '19 - 16:06 - 78550 of 78552 0 7 0 Is there an advantage to the Chinese by playing for time rather than getting the deal sewn up quickly? ------- Very possibly, they might be trying to wait out VRS and put pressure on the share price, they are not known for their benevolence in business. | andy
16/9/2019 16:18 | Patience. Wait til the 24th at least | 1teepee
16/9/2019 16:06 | Is there an advantage to the Chinese by playing for time rather than getting the deal sewn up quickly? Should the share price fall if more people become impatient would they not be able to offer a lower price for the 15% they are supposedly desperate to aquire? I hope not and in that case I would also hope that we turn down the offer point blank and concentrate on the rest of the world. | pshevlin
16/9/2019 14:22 | Tsunghsu has many sizeable divisions. I don't take our involvement with one of them to mean we are necessarily involved with another. I hope we are - but I don't presume it. Some of their divisions are big enough to go it alone on their own projects without it necessarily tying another division into having to do the same. | grabster
16/9/2019 11:44 | "I will be delighted when that first big deal crosses the line though" amen to that, brother. | club sandwich
16/9/2019 11:27 | Andy Which is why I went on to say "I would like to see evidence not speculation". There is no shortage of RNS's with information on all sorts of 'deals', all of them positive. There has to be a degree of trust between an investor and Versarien otherwise what is the point. RNS's in the past have omitted the name of the company involved but solid links have still been made with the company non the less, unless someone is being very manipulative in their choice of words and I see no evidence that is likely. Neill Ricketts is either a consummate Machiavellian or a decent guy trying to build a world class company, my money is on the latter. I will be delighted when that first big deal crosses the line though. | johnveals |
