I thought funds from the BIGT deal were needed for scale up? If it doesn’t happen or is delayed, will this impact the AECOM deal?

Probably a silly question but I note that the company logo and much of its literature is printed in orange colour, often with a dark bluish contrast. Is there a reason for this? I note that the posters for the Graphene Innovation and Research Conference taking in Jackson this year are notably in an orange and dark bluish hue. Do the colours have a significance to Graphene or not. I'm thinking along the line that vacuum cleaners are referred to as Hoovers etc. So is it a trade thing that graphene blurbs/ads etc must follow VRS and be in orange and dark bluish. Are VRS setting a trend?
Sorry if this sounds silly but in my defence I must say that it's almost 21:00 and I'm still sober.

We are in our own little bubble here. Volume has been low for a few weeks and PI's sell for whatever reason /get stopped out on spreadbets/ close CFD's or go for a must have buy.

In the meantime I am sure that the VRS team have been working their socks off to deliver.

Ideal situation is that BIGT is delivered prior to the AGM and get the 15%, at the AGM get shareholder agreement for another 15% for an open offer to interested II's and HNW's at the same price. Once BIGT is on board then others will want to join in as graphene and other 2D materials gather pace, there are plenty interested in new tech where a lot of the groundwork has been put in.

As far as I am aware pre the gagging order they were keeping their finger on the pulse with the China deals on a weekly basis, when the news lands there will be a gap up, much more going on behind the scenes than we can imagine I suspect.

Just 7 trading days until the AGM, not long is it!

Looking forward to next week and a further update from Neill. I will be on holiday in Crete, but I can keep tabs on the AGM via here and elsewhere.

I believe events will be coming nicely to the boil and I am hoping for further news on the collaborations.

I too am inclined to think that if NR was presenting to fund managers,
it would more likely to be with convincing evidence of good disruptive
prospects, than with excuses for delay or a mere list of things that could
come good but with no timeframe.

EDIT: Talking of funds - the middle third of this 49 minute video presentation
(Mello presentation by Polar Capital Technology Trust) shows the way in which
some fund managers look at disruptive stocks ..
I'm not promoting PCT but I found it an enjoyable watch, with some relevance
to what VRS is doing (even though VRS wouldn't appear in a PCT portfolio).

I imagine some posters might spot a few quotes that do have relevance
to VRS prospects - even though PCT is not into materials.

I think plenty of people are happy for top up if a few shares become available .

The big picture has not changed :-)

I imagine that if Neill is taking the time to meet with fund managers in the UK this week to talk about the VRS storey and where they are heading then things are probably on track with China / BIGT and other deals commercialisation and / scale up timelines previously discussed. As chillpill mentioned there is no liquidity as all the trading stock has been hovered up by long term holders and what seems to be some new money so any PIs with short term timelines and unrealistic expectations are likely to see their shares in popular demand!

good to see the naysayers out trying their subtle tactics...desperation.

they know we are moving into a different league very shortly. (excuse the pun)!

what a great position the company is in.

looking forward.

Cheek, I don't agree that there are many of us wearing rose tinted glasses... we are actually being very realistic and stating that it may or may not land before the AGM... nothing rose tinted about that...what we are saying is that it actually doesn't matter whether it lands before or after...Neill stated that he hoped it would but that it could be tight for time...it would make life easier if it does but it simply means that an extraordinary AGM would need to be called next year if they need to issue more shares.

Those who sell if the deal isn't through could well regret it the day after... news comes when it comes.

So if you believe in a company that you've invested your hard earned money in you're a cheerleader?? I don't see any cheerleading going on here Cheek just folk excited about their investment!

Highpark my bad I didn't tidy up before posting. I'll do that when I have access. The only point I was making was about weekly bull flags and the impact.

Sure everyone can have their own interpretation and mine isn't wrong afaik.

I agree with you and would put money on the share price falling if we don't sign the BIGT deal by the AGM. I don't want it to, I hope it doesn't but too many people wearing their rose tinted glasses at the moment - there will be a number of people sitting here already invested waiting for this news, hoping to make a quick profit but they will sell if the deal isn't signed by the AGM as this date has been pumped by one and all including NR. Too many cheerleaders on this board now IMO as I have been and continue to be but we do need a dose of reality sometimes.

A very fine chart ashehzib but too many lines Mr Mozart.

Penants were recently mentioned. This chart is a little more concise suggesting a break out could happen in January.
A little wait yet.

Jointer, it is reasonable to discuss these things I believe.

What's to discuss?.... I'm happy to discuss which sector we think could 'uptake' graphene on a large scale first or which material could be next after graphene and hexotene or anything else relevant to the company but 'discussing' whether the BIGT deal will be signed before the AGM is not really possible...it either will or it won't...fairly simple really so let's just bide our time and see what happens on that one.

of course we can discuss....why the negativity..?

my view if it comes before the agm brilliant, if it comes after brilliant.

lets not forget its the chinese that want our quality products.

we have the licence

"The Company can confirm that discussions between BIGT and the Company remain ongoing and that the WFOE has now been successfully incorporated as the Beijing Versarien Technology Company Limited and the business licence has been granted by the relevant Chinese authorities"

just a small part of whats going on with vrs.
