Although it might have been the interviewer who brought up Robin Saxby's name, NR himself is not averse to a bit of namedropping from time to time; Elon Musk; James Dyson; Richard Branson; Robin Saxby; plus a couple of Prime Ministers. ;-)

I loved the honesty...when asked if getting involved with China might upset the US, some may have been tempted to shrug it off but Neill is always so honest which shows that he isn't complacent...they are looking at possible problems, considering them, keeping an eye on them and acting accordingly...This is why I have so much faith in him as CEO...though I also appreciate that he always makes the point that he has a great team behind him, which I'm certain is true.
Also loved the mention of offices in the middle east and Russia... This company is going to be massive...or as the lady interviewer said when referring to Neill trying to get Robin Saxby on board "If anyone can do it Neill, you can!"

Robin Saxby might not want the job of chairing Versarien (and the constraints that can go with that role) - but it's a useful bit of namedropping in that podcast nevertheless. He's now 72 - and like NR, an engineer.

Re AGM attendance, my shares are held via Hargreaves Lansdowne. Just requested a letter to confirm my holding and been told that, rather than sending me that, they will send VRS confirmation directly so that I will be on their list for the 24th.

The modern way, I guess - now standard?

I live on the edge of the Lake District and cycle up some big hills. I never think about arriving at the summit, all I do is keep the pedals turning and I know I will eventually get there.

I'm sure BIGT and VRS have appraised the capital investment options, the working capital requirements and the necessary funding to achieve objectives. BIGT's skin in the game will be on a par with Neill.

pshevlin - just so. Shares in a company are money, which can be used for acquisitions. It is therefore imperative to have the shares worth as much as possible.
