23/8/2019 11:12 | "the more money VRS have to invest in factories etc - both in China and elsewhere - and the faster they can bootstrap the entire business....2 ....and if they are following the ARM model aquire other companies along the way. | pshevlin
23/8/2019 11:03 | "I am not particularly concerned about the price paid by BIGT as long as it is reasonable, 10p either way isn't really significant imho." well I agree it doesnt matter to BIGT - if everything works out as it could then whatever they pay will be irrelevant (to them) in only a few years. But it makes a *big* difference to VRS: the higher the price paid for the (up to) 15% stake by BIGT the more money VRS have to invest in factories etc - both in China and elsewhere - and the faster they can bootstrap the entire business... | club sandwich
23/8/2019 10:57 | Poddy was so good that it's followed by a further drop in the share price | rainbow23
23/8/2019 10:56 | I am not particularly concerned about the price paid by BIGT as long as it is reasonable, 10p either way isn't really significant imho. What is highly significant is getting the deal across the line, then we are clearing the tower. | johnveals
23/8/2019 10:07 | Again, credit where it's due - very good podcast. So now the $64bn question - can he deliver an Aecom contract (or equivalent *commercially-signif Which would be better: that BIGT buy in at say 145p a share, or (there having been a 'staggering' contract from Aecom and accompanying re-rate) at say 300p a share? Which would provide more money for expansion in China and elsewhere? | club sandwich
23/8/2019 09:51 | Superb poddy - Sarah asked very good questions, but unlike Justin - in a relaxed measured way that allowed Neill to be equally relaxed and very informative. He came over as a very competent captain, running a well controlled ship. I would think this poddy would really get the interest of potential holders, especially the intriguing talk about the AGM's. Holding the AGM in a 'stadium' was unintentionally really funny. I once filmed an AGM held in the Royal Albert Hall (full!). Neill how about it - next year too soon? ;0) Best wishes - Spike | spike_1
23/8/2019 09:28 | Going to be a lot of happy punters here When the BIGT materialises before or after the age when the Sp rockets | smallfry1

23/8/2019 08:55 | Fantastic podcast. | owenga
23/8/2019 08:55 | Going to be a lot of disappointed punters here when the much hyped BIGT fails to materialise before (or after) the agm and the share price plummets. | rainbow23
23/8/2019 08:49 | I agree;)If it's £10 and they are still expanding, especially organically, then it's worth holding imo | 1teepee
23/8/2019 08:47 | Already done that :) my original stake is now in Divi shares and 5 X that amount still in VRS. Next target is £2 before I convert some more into income earners | redchef
23/8/2019 08:46 | £20-£30 sounds a massive increase from today's price and normally i would agree this could take 5 yrs + to get to those levels. But then I'm reminded of the "testing 30T machine" is currently in play. I would imagine 30T in two years time would produce an awful lot of revenueI just think the future is so exciting and just herev to enjoy the ride | flatcoat1
23/8/2019 08:33 | for me a simple approach. at £2 take out my initial investment. and let the rest run. - No Loss and hopefully pure gain. | hsdeo
23/8/2019 08:29 | Probably a lot of people sold Amazon at £5 and really lived to regret it. My target is a lot higher than that. 20 and 30 pounds have been bandied around on here in the past.May take a while though and 5 would do me within the next year. | pshevlin
23/8/2019 08:25 | The CEO of @versarien caught up with @copytaster to discuss the latest developments......We hear about the #VRS July showcasing event which @neillricketts believes will both assist & boost infrastructure using a new "Arch project" 3d printing concept.https://tota | burtond1
23/8/2019 08:09 | It's like the same old question I get from other investors and friends. Target prices and what would I sell at. EG £5. My answer is always the same. Well if it's £5 then its £5 for a reason, so I'd have to consider the reason why it is there, deals in play and prospects to come along with the general market conditions at the time. So there is never an answer for that question of when would I sell out. Spin back a few years before all these collaborations, I was posting that I thought VRS could hit as high as £1.50 as it evolves and I would have been extremely happy with that. Been there done that and higher, the circs have changed considerably so I think it can go a hell of a lot higher than that. When it gets there no doubt I'll ponder about where it could go next. The circs when it gets there will be massively different to now. | superg1
23/8/2019 08:03 | Yes Viva barefoot. Forgot about that. Anyway shows it works and is very popular with customers. | amt
23/8/2019 08:03 | Woody re High risk. You are looking through your eyes. Those long in the tooth HNW guys get approached all the time for backing on big promises that have failed over and over again. Yes I think it's low risk due to the number of collaborations moving forward and the obvious big gains that are being seen in industries that crave such things. Knowing who Aecom are helps that view. As mentioned for HNW guys they are not thinking 5 or 10 bagger on £3 mill just good solid returns and a dividend one day. 10% - 20% per year would be amazing for them. That's what they do they wait for the de-risk side. If it's going to be £10 plus then it will be down to major moves forward in the business and good deals, so why would they invest at £1.20 when it's less clear. They have a completely different mindset. Just like 95% plus of funds out there, even if they wanted to invest in VRS they can't as it doesn't meet the fund investment criteria. Over time some HNW guys that are well aware of VRS have been named. | superg1 |
