23/8/2019 06:29 | Came across this. Graphene in shoes which is interesting. Removed names so as not to advertise. I wonder if Vrs have identified shoes as a market. The potential must be enormous in this sector Building on the success of its current raft of Graphene Grip shoes, the (see review), (see review) and (see review), which have apparently seen a 95% increase in sales, the is the shoe for those wanting something to give them grip and protection on hard-packed trails. Because hard-packed trails are often very good at wearing down the grip on the soles of your trainers, it makes good sense that would give the the graphene treatment. It’s well-advertised by now that chose to incorporate graphene into their soles because it’s the world strongest material, 200 times stronger than steel. Reinforcing rubber outsoles with graphene extends their lives and they’ve proven to be 50% harder-wearing in testing. The graphene infused sole As well as a Graphene-Grip outsole, the also features most cushioned underfoot ride to date, combined with a new flexible rock plate that both protects and gives a kick of spring-back energy with every stride. We’ve tested previous versions of the and found them to be a great shoe on hard, rocky paths. They give you plenty of cushioning, plenty of grip and we found them a great fit for races with a lot of downhill as they have plenty of toe room but they’re not too wide. We haven’t seen the new yet, but if the main change is the addition of graphene then it should be a good update. Testing out the in its native habitat – said: “By utilising graphene we have solved a long-standing problem for end users who had to choose between a softer rubber outsole that grips in all conditions and a harder rubber outsole that is more durable. Now they can get it all in one rubber outsole boasting the ‘world’s toughest grip.’” “Sales of our graphene-enhanced products have been incredibly strong and by 2020 they will account for more than half of all? footwear sales. “The is our latest highly-anticipated addition and we won’t be stopping there. We have a number of very exciting graphene innovations in the pipeline.” Find out more about the new women’s version and men’s version. | ![]() amt

22/8/2019 22:58 | As an investment play we are really in a closed market, as PI investors we are holding on to our holdings and hoping on increased valuation of the business via the day to day share price movement Not necessarily to sell but to accumulate a paper profitConversely, as a business enterprise we could expect our business 'Versarien' to be recognised as a valued investment play for Il's and HNW individuals to invest for a growth outcome , say 5 plus years ahead and Take their profitMy thought is that recent demonstrations of the business model, seen in operation and successful in creating revenue creAted profit will be the trigger to driving the Sp upward. Been said by a number of other investors alsoPersonally very happy with the positive business prospect going forward, my investment in Versarien and the Management team Happy days | richafling

22/8/2019 22:21 | I spend at least a couple of hours a day following and reading everything I can that comes out of this company or may be relevant to the market that this company is dealing in. I literally search for 'problem areas'. Not an easy task! I honestly fail to see how this can still be regarded as 'high risk'. It obviously is still a relatively young company, so certain risks will always be associated, but we have a prudent and genuine management who I am more than happy are playing a very clever, strategic game. The latest report shows that they are aware that speedy growth is important through acquisitions and progressing global footprint, but they are doing it methodically, not erratically. Creating good business relationships with global companies, not chasing 'quick-fix headline grabbers'. I am convinced that long term holders can look forward to being not only financially well rewarded but being able to to participate in quite an incredible journey. That journey is only just beginning. | ![]() woodpeckers
22/8/2019 22:15 | Actually very restrained Mike. You weren't rude or personal. What Andy was saying was utter garbage.. brokers have no inside information, and they are not going to persuade their clients to purchase shares before BIGT happens as they don't know any more than us whether it will happen or not. In VRS case us as PIs are probably on a pretty level playing field with what Berenberg knows given how close we are to Neill and the information he provides us, which again is not inside as it is never specific. | ![]() owenga
22/8/2019 21:46 | I'm sure many on here are risk averse. I know some are as they tell me. They are prepared to put big money in here but they wouldn't put more than a punt in some others. I could names dozens of Aim companies where they would think it is bonkers to invest large sums. Just looking on one or two. Redt If they have the answer to power storage then it's the holy grail, so no need to invest. As it's so far where it could be if they crack it, and the share price would take a long time to catch up where it could be, then why invest now. PHE I think that is just a con but for some reason if they do manage what no one else had managed before then why invest as you can pile in big time when it's entirely de-risked. No way would I invest heavily in those. So there are many in not all here who are just like HNW guys, we all have various views on a host for shares. So if BIGT drops yes then I can see why, HNWs on the sidelines would see it as de-risked and may well stick a good lump in. | ![]() superg1
22/8/2019 21:36 | To HNW guys 7% returns win their money is good. Most on ADVFN think multi-bag of £5, £10, $50k etc. 7% of £3 mill over 2 years is £630k. In £50k to £5k term a 12 bagger to a 42 bagger. So if one stuck in £3 mill at £1.50 it would need to be $1.60 at the end of year 1, £1.72 yr 2 and £1.84 at the end of year 3. That's 7% on the value at the end of each year rather than 7% on the initial investment. A return of £680,000 on their investment which they would be very pleased with. Generally they don't do high risk, £50 mill at 7% is £3.5 mill, so why risk all that on low risk options by chucking that amount at start ups where you may lose the lot. Is if you see relatively big money in the bank, then you worry less about the next few years and it becomes de-risked. Not just because of the money but the circumstances that surround why that money arrived. | ![]() superg1

22/8/2019 20:30 | Spike, These high net worth individuals must be very cautious because to date they have kept their hands in their pockets. Or maybe they still weren’t convinced from Ibiza presentations. Or maybe they don’t mind paying higher prices once evidence of revenue is secured | ![]() kemorkid
22/8/2019 20:20 | I thought Spikes comments were unnecessary and a personal attack on Andy for no apparent reason, we are all entitled to our own opinions of course but without being belittled for trying to get them across using examples, be nice to each other, we all want the same thing in the end. | ![]() luckyorange |
