22/8/2019 20:01 | It certainly is happening jointer. Spot on with your comments Spike. | rogerbridge
22/8/2019 19:45 | do not concentrate the mind on any one potential...it is staggering what could land at any time. its happening ! | jointer13
22/8/2019 19:44 | Idea - after presentation in Ibiza & recent news BB think this vrs looks good. Says to vrs why don't you let us work for you... They collect both ends eh? | laginaneil
22/8/2019 19:11 | Andy - that's a very simplistic statement about Berenberg. Firstly: 'one person has suggested a price of 175p' - so was that someone an insider or especially knowledgeable .... er .... NO - so a ridiculous (useless) statement. FYI: BerenBerg hosted a week-end recently in Ibiza for HNW (high net worth individuals) where VRS did presentations (every 45 mins?) over 2 days, i.e. Berenberg are ALREADY promoting VRS i.e. NOT waiting till BIGT is a done deal. However, Berenberg (prior to today) were a neutral entity and may have, and for that matter, may continue to advise caution prior to BIGT. Why - bloody obvious! - once the deal is done, VRS have very substantial funds backing their operation (it ain't going to go broke any time soon, so is a trusted and viable long-term partner), AND the BIGT deal sets VRS up in China as the 'go to' supplier of 'real' graphene, as endorsed by BIGT who are VERY influential. Best wishes - Spike | spike_1
22/8/2019 19:05 | It is all rather odd, if Berenberg have interested clients then they will wish to accumulate shares which may be difficult because nobody wants to sell at the moment, bit of a quandary really. | luckyorange
22/8/2019 17:53 | grabster22 Aug '19 - 12:46 - 77320 of 77351 0 1 0 "But as others have said, Berenberg might not wish to (publicly) push Versarien until derisked by BIGT deal being delivered. ;-)" They wouldn't be doing it 'publicly', they would be talking to their private clients in private. "Their appointment as broker does give them an inside view - which of course they can not illegally exploit. :-O" So, as a broker always has an "inside view" they will never be able to sell to their clients, is that what you're saying? So you are suggesting Berenberg are going to wait until the BIGT announcement, where one person here suggests the price will be 175p on the news, and then put their clients in? If I were such a client I would be switching broker immediately......... | andy
22/8/2019 17:17 | 86.5 hours gap after close tomorrow. but since the jet streams moving north Campari and a good book ,Plus some exercise .But then we're running into news at any time territory one hopes. | alchemy
22/8/2019 17:01 | Silly idea - is the UT at 124p in case of news tomorrow, so it don't 'gap up'? OK maybe it's so they can mark it down tomorrow ? | laginaneil
22/8/2019 16:59 | False closing price? Should be 120.5 | elbillo
22/8/2019 16:52 | That would certainly keep you busy Fireball. Hope you enjoy ;0) | handykart
22/8/2019 16:48 | Re: joint venture which I understand is 100% owned by VRS? ..... er I think there is a lack of logic in that comment surely ? | spike_1
22/8/2019 16:47 | And we went after Skeleton Bob, oh well can't win them all.Still we've got the Polygamy to keep us busy. That should see a quick progression into other areas of interest. | fireball xl5
22/8/2019 16:46 | Because the BOD did not agree to that. | clint fleecewood
22/8/2019 16:41 | Why are BIGT investing in VRS rather than in the joint venture which I understand is 100% owned by VRS? | willoicc
22/8/2019 16:39 | Some excellent news emerging recently - The successful perfirmance of polygrene in 3D printing is a fabulous achievement and looks like like it’s heading for big things - wouldnt be surprised to hear of the polygrene/printer combo heading to the moon or mars in decades to come.. I believe that it is Nanene being used in polygrene? - At this time do we know the proportion breakdown % of different Graphene constituents in the current potential daily production run? - Particularly that of Nanene? | pcjoe
22/8/2019 16:39 | Mmm, same situation as yesterday, very interesting.... | scottishfield

22/8/2019 16:21 | They sure know how to get money. Skeleton Technologies receives a €15 million loan for graphene-based supercapacitors development Skeleton Technologies, developer and manufacturer of high energy and power density supercapacitors, has received €15 million in a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB), under the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI). This funding is meant to allow the company to finance the R&D for the further development of its products and systems. Skeleton will use part of the money to invest in an electrode mass-production facility in Dresden, Germany, according to the statement. The loan is stated to be based on company performance and doesn’t dilute the holdings of Skeleton’s founders, according to the EIB. This is the latest in a line of activities to secure funds by Skeleton, which also involved €13 million in an investment led by FirstFloor Capital in August 2016, a €4 million investment from KIC InnoEnergy in January 2016, and more - totaling in around €41.7 million. | willoicc
22/8/2019 16:20 | This multiple account nonsense is getting out of hand .. | east coker
22/8/2019 16:17 | Yes, one can imagine the BIGT rns dropping one morning 7am, when the prevailing price the previous day was, say, 130p, confirms BIGT 15% at 150p, open offer/rights issue same price, share price opens at 8am at 175p. So both a premium and a discount. | chopsy
22/8/2019 15:56 | Seeing this contract win by Skeleton Technologies for "graphene" enhanced supercapacitors (first link) and the performance of their graphene enhanced supercapacitors against competitors without graphene enhanced supercapacitors which included Maxwell (second link) prompted me to wonder whether things are progressing between Gnanomat/Maxwell (now part of Tesla of course) to catch up with their competitors? | aquaesulis01
22/8/2019 15:45 | Hello Folks, Just my little tuppence worth.. I think it a confidence thing for other investors. If it's good enough for BIGT it's good enough for me! We had a saying in the IT industry 'You never got fired for buying Microsoft.' I don't think all these HNW individuals do half the research that the sum total of individuals on this board have done. They may well pay some professional / 'experts' to do it for them but we see the depth of their knowledge in print sometimes. Just my thoughts... | laginaneil
22/8/2019 15:36 | I'm sure NR said previously that when they do the BIGT placing, they would do something for PIs also but as it was likely to be at a premium to the market price, then he wouldn't expect any take up but he wanted to make it fair to all. | cheek212
22/8/2019 15:19 | It won't be a premium when Bigt is attached/ confirmed even. Irrevocably. It's confirmed as far as I'm concerned now. | alchemy
22/8/2019 15:00 | High Park - you either buy now into a company that looks very likely to have a deal in China or you pay more to buy into a company that HAS a deal in China. They may discount for existing PI's but I doubt it. BIGT share will be at a premium, of that I am confident. | clint fleecewood |
