If you try buying 50k shares look how much the share price moves up. You couldn't even buy 1 million shares for under £1.45 let alone 30million

If the offer is open to the public, they're not going to buy at a premium, are they?

£30 million for 15% of what Versarien has already achieved is a total giveaway and is a fleabite compared to the amounts VRS will need to grow to fulfil the suggested potential ahead.

15% also prevents any bidder, except BIGT, launching an unconditional bid, which I understand would require 90% acceptance.

15% basically gives BIGT a Golden Share.

I do not understand why people do not see that.

Maybe my figures are incorrect.

15% of current market cap = 27.9 mill. As the issue is open to all there will be a discount, say 25 mill.

Arch - an earlier article said it could be installed by two people.

Re £40 million - I think if you do the maths (number of shares / likely sp) it works out at around £30m

For BIGT 15% I would expect north of £40 million, SuperG I think you are being ultra conservative with £30 million

Also re the Arch, it says installation is reduced from 4 shifts to 1, how many operatives are there in that shift? Just trying to get a feel for some of the savings.

It's the HNW that are waiting until BIGT is done i.e. a better 'bet' from their point of view. (this according to Neill at Bangers).

before ;-)
But as others have said, Berenberg might not wish to (publicly) push Versarien until derisked by BIGT deal being delivered. ;-)

Their appointment as broker does give them an inside view - which of course they can not illegally exploit. :-O

Grabstr,

Would you want your broker to put you in before or after the BIGT deal?

Canaccord and Berenberg- Canaccord are winding down a lot of their UK investment banking operations so it’s a sensible move to appoint a joint broker in case the Canaccord team disappears.
