17/4/2019 10:41 | Big sell lurking? | chumbo1
17/4/2019 10:35 | I am not at all concerned with the possibility of a Chinese company machining an investment in VRS. The share price needs to be a lot higher than what it is at the moment, so that the Chinese funds available for investment take a lower percentage than 15%. Neill is off to the USA shortly and I am hoping that something may happen to propel the share price upwards. He will be talking with top people on Capitol Hill, so who knows what may happen. A USA inward investment would suit me and hopefully on very good terms. The US value tech companies far higher that we Brits do. I am certain Neill will not sign up to any offer that is not fully valuing our IP and knowhow. | ![]() rogerbridge
17/4/2019 10:32 | The price drops below 135p, the stake builder WILL snap them up. Just watch. | ![]() festario
17/4/2019 10:32 | Someone having a bit of a clearout this morning. Katie feeding the ducks or some trader taking profits from 75p maybe? Edit : Aah - that’s more like it! | ![]() shavian
17/4/2019 10:16 | Judging by references to other revoloutionary companies I expect the Chinese to pay 100m for their share minimum.......... ;-) Dont shoot me ......... have a great Easter. The clock has a long way to tick. | ![]() squire007
17/4/2019 09:45 | I always like my own tweets !! I do know someone who is short but wouldn't worry about him as he can afford big losses Why is it ok for you to ramp and yet not ok for me to say this is overvalued ?Just think when a Ceo tweets all day it's a very worrying sign We shall see!! So far I'm wrong but .... | ![]() nico115
17/4/2019 09:33 | Being listed in the UK means it’s a free market for shares. Donald Trump can become a major shareholder in VRS if he wants so there’s nothing to stop anyone buying a stake and demanding a board seat. Directors need to be voted on/off so there are some safety checks. My view is that China is effectively underwriting the cost of the local setup by agreeing to subscribe for a placing. This subscription could be scaled back according to PI and II take up. This is making a huge assumption that a placing is needed at all as there are other ways to fund plant set ups so let’s see how the deal goes first. If the USA is unimpressed they had better get their act together. AIMHO etc. | lovat scout
17/4/2019 09:30 | Willoicc "..I guess the USA would be mightily unimpressed as well..." Well it's up to the USA to suss what's happening and respond, before they find that the global landgrab for graphene has left them trailing behind China. But it usually takes a shock to stir America into action (Japs bombing Pearl Harbour; Russians launching Sputnik, etc). Perhaps the big graphene announcement expected from Capitol Hill a month from now will show what the USA intends doing about it. ;-) | ![]() grabster
17/4/2019 09:13 | willoicc - by precisely defining the terms of those non-exclusive joint ventures. Since the first investor meeting I attended in March of last year Neill has been clear as to the preferred nature of the expansion of the company down the "franchise" model of joint ventures. It gives a win win for all those involved, and not least the shareholders who retain the benefits of the almost unlimited expansion possibilities. | ![]() johnveals
17/4/2019 09:12 | I'm a big fan of NR ,just think he should tweet less as to me he seems desperate for the shares to rally ,that never ever ends well!!Ask yourself this ..why is he so obsessed with the share price ??!!I hope I'm wrong as genuinely hope NR makes a fortune as he is a good guy | ![]() nico115
17/4/2019 09:10 | nico115 - Take it 'your mate' is still short then lol :) If you're not invested then then bog off | cashorcard

17/4/2019 08:59 | Have I seen you on the balcony at the muppet show Willoic. We get it, you are not happy re the deal, you have said it a few times. I'm very happy and very excited by it. Read the detail then do some further research. Note the news on WFOE in recent times. | ![]() superg1
17/4/2019 08:57 | Like those who work in the Westminster bubble and think everyone in the country is talking about politics, we are all living in a Graphene bubble so think everyone is walking and talking Versarien, but go into your work place or a pub and ask someone what Graphene is and you will get a blank look. And that is why the share price is barely moving! Until we hit the mainstream only us lucky few will get it buy in cheap. Remember, we are just a small AIM listed company, not even in the top 100 so most people will have never heard of Versarien, with barely a couple of hundred trades per day - when we get up to over a 1000 per day then we will be taking off. Hopefully that day is edging nearer. | ![]() cheek212
17/4/2019 08:54 | Yea you have a point there will. I think though NR is a very astute business man and will protect his baby with caution . | ![]() kemorkid
17/4/2019 08:53 | How can you have joint ventures with different companies in different countries and remain an independent supplier? | ![]() willoicc
17/4/2019 08:51 | I think it is a huge mistake to allow the Chinese to buy up to 15% of the company at this stage. Does 15% entitle a shareholder to demand a seat on the Board. If so, China would have access to all VRS's plans for the future, including other 2D materials. I guess the USA would be mightily unimpressed as well. | ![]() willoicc
17/4/2019 08:50 | Grabster The same goes for AT&T re the paid for research into mobile phones. They ignored the hype and went with a flawed forecast of 900,000 demand which in time period of the forecast had a 109 million actual demand. Those stories repeat over and over again. I'm absolutely convinced the advanced materials revolution is on the way. So what better than to be a shareholder in a company that not only looks like it has a lead, but has a ridiculous amount of interest the likes of which I have never seen before anywhere, not even close. I started out as a graphene hype what a load of BS type view. However with research any view changed considerably. | ![]() superg1

17/4/2019 08:38 | BoilingFrog. Agreed, the director sell fell just the wrong side of the weekend which has halted what would otherwise of been a fast ride to 163. Having said that, at some point I am expecting the market to let the breaks off. | ![]() diversification
17/4/2019 08:28 | “China’s economy will bottom out before long if it hasn’t already” | ![]() shavian
17/4/2019 08:26 | Incredible the share price is still at these levels. A Chinese entity wants to buy up to 15% of VRS (not a subsiduary, the main listd company), the CEO is presenting to the Senate in America, they're talking to companies and governments all around the world, and the price is 137p, a market cap of c£200m? Astonishing. | boilingfrog |
