Check your contract note Marky. Adfvn may show it as a sell if your trade was below mid price.

Welcome Marky, from one of the cranks to which you refer so glibly. Lol.

Quite stable today, on an otherwise v down day, as Festario says. Welcome markyboy5; yes that sometimes happens, ADVFN is not perfect.

Hi everybody
I am new to this thread, having invested in vr last year I have found your discussions a brilliant and enlightening read. I am getting to know the cranks and slowly filtering them.

A question for you
I have just bought some more shares and on my system they show as a sell nota buy

Thanks M

That's called a backwardation, and they are quite rare. They only last moments, but this one has been going on for over an hour on iii.

Strange day on the markets, the FTSE pretty much level, but 29 out of the 30 stocks on my monitor are down, some of them badly down!

Oops. I appear to have just done a reverse Fest manoeuvre.

A dummy buy that consummated. Never mind, a few more won't hurt.

The whole of life is a spin of a roulette wheel Lovat and VRS is a very small part of that whole.

"The management may well be guilty of (justifiable) exuberance and as a result made some shareholders’ delivery timetable expectations much shorter."

what, you mean like "the next news has to be an order"?

If shareholders are impatient, Ricketts really has nobody to blame but himself...

Personally I'd settle for an explanation of how a company with a red-hot product (which presumably commands a premium price), with fingers in every pie, with government backing and global connections, with 30+ collabs in place, can be making so *little* money...

roger - careful, you're risking a ban from the Dimwit Despot by even talking to me.

Obviously I hope you're right - but as Fest pointed out, after more than a year of over-promising and under-delivering (in fact zero-delivering in terms of significant financial performance), frankly I'll believe it when I see it.

Meanwhile there is ongoing weakness in the share price, because nobody knows what this company is worth, nobody can price it, and nobody has any realistic projections of what it *might* be worth going forward. Just one reason the first significant order (and I would hope that to be at least in the 10s of Ts of nanene/polygrene/graphinks) is so important - it will give at least a very rough set of numbers to work with.

Assuming of course that VRS actually *tells* us what the first significant order might be worth - and I bet they don't, because they seem to enjoy mushroom management...

News flow expectations for some investors need to be reduced. Everyone is waiting for the ground breaking developments but it’s not possible to have a running commentary from VRS.

The management may well be guilty of (justifiable) exuberance and as a result made some shareholders’ delivery timetable expectations much shorter. For me the reality is that VRS is a long game and not a spin of a roulette wheel......

AIMHO etc.

Mryl I just want to see an uptake and orders begin to flow. Orders of all sizes are important, it does not necessarily have to be the “big one” to start the ball rolling. I am hoping for a cumulative effect with the a few “big ones” added in as they come.

Yes but how big do the first orders need to be to content anyone?
Think about it, 200kg polygrene order from AECOM? Nice but not that substantial £-wise I would imagine. 20kg Nanene order? Awesome. Then what? We will need quite a few of these to actually impact the share price in a meaningful and sustainable way.
I'm hoping that rather than announcing all the small deals they just drop the big bombs when they land. Technically they do not have to announce every order, only those worth more than 10% of last revenues. And if the share price falls in the meantime so be it whatever.
