"One of those collabs is bound to bear fruits soon"

yes, that's what we've been thinking for the past year.

have now listened to the podcast. very positive - as always - but doesn't seem like we're any nearer to actually signing a significant contract. still jam tomorrow...

We don't need financial statements....we already know that cash burn is covered for next few years. The only thing that matters is a big order. No financial statement will change the investment case here. We know the long term story at play here... patience my friends. One of those collabs is bound to bear fruits soon.

Re. above 130 Fest, we just don't seem to be able to break through. I think it will only be financial news that gets us above and keeps us there. It would be useful if we got interim statements occasionally to say that everything is progressing well. I would hope that even if we didn't have large orders yet that we would be selling more of the product for trials and that the other arms of the business were improving.

16% of global R&D spend in 2018 in the auto industry.

4.1% in Chemicals and Energy.

3.2% in Consumer.

2.8% in Aerospace and Defence.

"This statistic shows the percentage of global research and development spending in 2018, by industry. In 2018, about 2.8 percent of global research and development spending was made by the aerospace and defense industry. Lockheed Martin's expenditure on research and development in 2017, for example, stood at 1.2 billion U.S. dollars.
Additional information on research and development in the healthcare industry

The pharmaceutical and medical care companies that service the global healthcare industry have a large influence on the degree of global research and development occurring. The pharmaceutics and biotechnology industry had the highest percentage of spending on research and development of total revenue from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, the industry spent 15 percent of total revenue on research and development. The nature of the sector requires companies to invest in research in order to remain competitive. Projections on the worldwide research and development spending in medical technology from 2011 to 2024 suggest that total spending in 2024 will reach 38.9 billion dollars, a significant increase on the 23.4 billion spent in 2011 .

The high degree of financial risk as well as the high costs associated with conducting medical research means that a smaller number of large companies tend to dominate the market and thus dominate subsequent research. One such firm is Johnson & Johnson who increased spending on research and development from around 6.5 billion dollars in 2005 to over 10.5 billion in 2017. Such increases in spending suggest further the competitive nature of the market and that even the larger dominant firms must remain ahead of the competition."

(my emphasis)

VRS turnover in the last Half? £5.22m.

Pathetic.

And I see a new member of the NGA has been announced. A bit more to cheer about on that board today. Nevertheless I won't be selling my VRS holding to buy DCTA.

Punters getting bored here. I would imagine it's only a minority of us that are tuned in to the full story. If the rest aren't kept happy they will be looking for pastures anew. Then we need a fund to keep buying them up. Still no answer came to my previous questions. SuperG. You always seem to be able to tell us who might be selling but who is buying. Berenberg?

No wonder buying in the 130s has entirely dried up though. Because those who dare to do that, always end up in a losing position that same day. Those buying at 138p on Monday, are now 12p a share down already!

Obviously "someone" is buying but who is it? No-one seems to have a clue including SuperG. There was a tweet to Neill a couple of days ago which has mysteriously disappeared regarding a new entity that had a major interest that had just been registered. I couldn't find anything.
