08/2/2019 16:41 | Hi lag, confident that they must be nearly there. The share price is holding up well despite their selling though which is impressive and suggests we will move north rapidly when they are done. I may be wrong but following the comments made at the fundraising I think Neill can literally see who is selling.... and buying... | ![]() woodpeckers
08/2/2019 16:30 | I wonder if his timescales are different to ours. He might mean he can see monthly reports into shareholdings, rather than a minute-by-minute account of who is selling and buying today. | ![]() bisho4

The forthcoming scheme is intended to cut the litter polluting the land and sea by returning a small cash sum to consumers who return their bottles and cans. 08/2/2019 15:10 | Indeed, it's like the world needs 2D materials to help with lots of problems, but doesn't quite know it yet. Investing here, is like believing they will know ! 08/2/2019 15:08 | If we put nanane in plastic bottles and those bottles are recycled then do we need to put more Graphene in the bottles when remolded? Or once all the plastic has Graphene inside and we have a closed loop system does that mean we don't need to put any more in it ? | ![]() 1teepee

08/2/2019 15:06 | Baz. It's estimated by 2020 the average car will have between 200-350 Kg of plastic. With 38 million sold in UK last year alone. That's an awful lot of potential | ![]() flatcoat1
08/2/2019 14:55 | Ellis, I agree entirely. Whichever way you approach it from looking at simple use cases to the more long term, such as batteries etc, the numbers look to be incredible even for a small market share in each of the opportunities that we know of so far, as you rightly point out. I believe that Neill is approaching this the right way in setting the foundations solidly rather than taking the easy orders and that will ensure we develop and grow with each new partner learning a tremendous amount of info along the way that just adds to the investment case. And with all the fingers in so many pies each new application further derisks the position. We know that Poland appear to have given up trying to produce graphene, and that China, USA, etc etc havent cracked it yet which all adds to the first mover advantage. I am sure that any other producers would be shouting a large MOU from the rooftops, but no credible ones have shown yet, though it can only be a matter of time. I am happy to trust in Neill and the team and wait for it to snowball, rather than get rick quick now type of attitude I dont care if its jam or bananas, or from what country they come from, but I agree it will come in time AIMHO. Teepee, yes if there is a truly closed loop system for recycling plastic it will limit the amount of nanene over time, but by then they may have cracked batteries, aircraft and EV lightweighting and who knows what else Baz | ![]() baz99
08/2/2019 14:53 | Succinctly put Scrutable - a lot will happen this year and even VRS may not know the running order! It will be interesting to see if the DIT secondees have their stay at VRS extended and the news flow around those decisions. Not sure how quickly a note from Canaccord will appear. VRS probably not in a position yet to make sensible financial forecasts so any publication would most likely be company and industry background, which would be a start! | lovat scout
08/2/2019 14:36 | Sideways or down? No way. Adjust your glasses. You don't have to be numerate to see. Anybody looking at the 2-year chart from Feb 2017 can recognise, if shown, that after a sharp re-rating over 11 months from Nov 2017 to Oct 2018 (which at 182p had gone beyond its natural equilibrium with the facts), the share price returned to trend in mid Oct last year and has averaged 27% /pa in contination of the original upward trend channel,- which it has followed calmly for the last four months and is now slightly oversold at 123p. One can expect it to oscillate between 115-144p until it responds to a significant news item suggesting a change in financial performance like the predictability of a repeat order string, or to a Capital event like a good acquisition or substantial new financial partner- perhaps a licensee injecting funds as is often part ofa maturing collaboration. Those squealing impatiently for rapid share price appreciation are not investors but speculators, because the reality that the average buyer has made incremental capital profit at 27%/pa is doing very well by today's stock market performance, and I do expect a substantial breakout ie windfall,'soon', but only NR and his closest executives are in a position to make an informed prediction, which I assume will soon be passed to Canaccord for inferring in their first broker's Note. | ![]() scrutable
08/2/2019 14:24 | Indeed baz, we only need one of these large multinationals to click, and away we go ! In short, although we have had a period of consolidation and churn in terms of the share price since the autumn, in the background the story for vrs gets better and better. Ie we have a growth of opportunity in near term orders, aecom and aircraft interiors ; that would require scale up ( eg. neill says a big aecom order would stretch current production capacity by itself). But also - we have exponential growth in terms of opportunity. Since agm; multiple mou's with large chinese firms. China update this week; multiple jv opportunities. We have multiple country engagements : china, uk (geic) s. korea, japan, india and usa. Neill also has responsibilty for singapore and indonesia (per poddys) - he met indonesian ambassador this week. Korean and chinese ambassadors last week. (I look forward to korean and japanese updates) we have two chinese assessments that vrs 2D materials meet their criteria. We have multiple dit staff helping vrs - 2 secondees and another helping peter jay in china last week. All this tremendous opportunity is real, not imagined - and presents something for 'an excited team' (per poddy) to get stuck into. I can't see a better blue sky, i am happy to cheer neill and co onto success. The general market and trade wars are what they are. We hope for speedy resolutions. The jam will come ! And of a flavour we can all enjoy for the long term. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
