30/1/2019 15:29 | The upside (presumably) of having Tungshu working out of GEIC is that - assuming - they have influential scientists working there, VRS can speed up progress relating to their collaborations i.e. sample testing and results will be much more rapid, and thus progress to products. Best wishes - Spike | spike_1
30/1/2019 15:29 | Been trying to buy online at HL but their site seems to be down. Anyone else had trouble? | volsung
30/1/2019 15:29 | I also think it's an amazing collaborative opportunity for VRS to work directly with one of their partners within the GEIC on new projects. Spid, have a word with yourself lol. Old news son. | tini5
30/1/2019 15:21 | "The Fat Controller30 Jan '19 - 15:07 - 57843 of 57846 0 0 0 Am I being paranoid? I just feel a little uncomfortable having one of our massive (potential, at this stage) customers operating from next door to us in GEIC." Don't forget that Versarien don't make Nanene at GEIC, so Tungshu won't be next door to the top secret production line! | impvesta
30/1/2019 15:19 | Also, don't forget First Graphene and Haydale are also on site. | realcooltrader
30/1/2019 15:15 | Understand what you mean about Tungshu but if Neil's happy so am l, we can't have everything, cheers | wuzy
30/1/2019 15:12 | Made my last ever buy a few minutes ago, not a mega amount, but it wouldn't trade straight away, so that suggests that stock is pretty tight! | festario
30/1/2019 15:07 | Am I being paranoid? I just feel a little uncomfortable having one of our massive (potential, at this stage) customers operating from next door to us in GEIC. | the fat controller
30/1/2019 15:05 | The same Lipeng Wang - Chairman and CEO of Tunghsu Optoelectronic, who commented: "Versarien is a leading company and operator in the graphene field in the UK. China has a huge market potential for graphene industrialisation and commercialisation. As the leading enterprise in the graphene field in China, we are very pleased to work with Versarien to promote valuable collaboration and innovation, and ultimately achieve mutual sucess." | melf
30/1/2019 15:03 | recent NR tweet: "@neillricketts 21m21 minutes ago More Neill Ricketts Retweeted James Pullinger Chris on way back for board meeting tomorrow, @MattWal79512221 in Japan suffering for the cause , I've had 2 ambassadors in 3 days :) . 30/1/2019 14:37 | Good find bootie, so they'll have a lab next to ours, very convenient. | woodpeckers
30/1/2019 14:14 | Very interesting... So the fourth GEIC tier-one partner is Tungshu Optoelectronic Wang Lipeng, director of Tungshu Optoelectronic, said: “Tunghsu Optoelectronic will become the newest tier-one member of GEIC, marking a strong alliance between China’s leading graphene industry and the birthplace of graphene. “The GEIC is the world’s top research institute specialising in graphene engineering, Tunghsu Optoelectronic is the leader of China’s graphene industry. “The strong cooperation between the two sides will help to promote the industrialisation of new graphene materials, solve the ‘pain point’ of the current development of the graphene industry, and open a window for Tunghsu Optoelectronic graphene business to face the global market.” | bootie64
30/1/2019 13:53 | I posted links last year to dr martin kemp giving various composite presentations on behalf vrs - mostly ktn events. Also a cranfield event too from memory. According to linked in he is still engaged with vrs. Of course, he is one of the 'experts' advising vrs on iso too. Author of bsi 2d standards. Aimo. Best ellis "Dr Martin Kemp is Chairman of the Nanomaterials Committee of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3). Of particular note, Dr Kemp has written the new standard for graphene flakes (British Standard Institution BSI PAS 1201:2018 'Properties of Graphene Flakes - Guide') which was sponsored by InnovateUK and will be published in August 2018." | ellissj
30/1/2019 13:49 | Old old news, move on ...... get your tickets by tomoz latest ;-) | squire007
30/1/2019 13:31 | Agame A few have applied for that CTO role. You can see how dynamic the VRS team is. As NR said it’s not what is on your CV but more about your personality and ability to fit in with the team. No BS, hard working and likeable are key factors. As NR tweeted recently he judges people by their actions. AD visited VRS at Princes Risborough about 5 years ago with I and two others. Those 2 others are still invested and post occasionally. When AD joined VRS we ceased contact other than me saying well done re getting in. | superg1
30/1/2019 13:14 | I wonder if Andrew D is still a shareholder in VRS?As I said yesterday, he was very quickly a leading light, or so it seemed, at the company... as he was entrusted with delivering presentations. | festario
30/1/2019 13:12 | Thanks sg1. | realcooltrader
30/1/2019 13:12 | that vacant CTO post has been there for a long time, nothing to do with Andrew. It's been there at least since June 2017.. hxxp://web.archive.o | a_game |
