Great podcast. Neill giving detail upon history of chinese interest shows how the story grew and chopped and changed eg jinjan was first. Then but one of many now. Thus as i suggested timelines became stretched. Likewise, we have a mou in place now for a major 2D materials producing valley. With this in place, it opens opportunities for other parties on the list to step forward and progress their interest. Then logically, it should become clearer to the jv partners how to structure the deal based upon expected demand. Thus, the more that sign up the better for vrs and holders. Based upon simple law of demand and supply. To my mind, this is why no timelines necessary. Neill as largest holder is acting in the interests of long term holders and with such a huge level of interest (he said they can't get the quality of vrs products in china) the situation remains fluid eg say we sign another 10 mou's - we may still have 30+ expressions of interest outstanding. Not unreasonable given the number swelled from 1 in january to 30 odd? In august ! As neill said they flew over to uk to visit us. Therefore, it is not a one deal wonder, we have a great and amazing opportunity here and i am behind neill and co getting the 'right' kind of deals that progresses the company in the interests of lths. So far, so very good. Neill sounded very assured, and why shouldn't he be? He's delivering upon the january loi, and in spades. Who guessed back then the level of chinese interest we see now ? Plus rest of world too ? Aimo. Glalth. Best ellis

The latest tweet to Neill is genius, suggesting that he advertises at Wrexham fc. Imagine Mike@goodsofa aka Diane Carberry and all of his mates looking out at Versarien/+Nanene adverts every time they go to a game.

Only £1,000 per year for a corner flag + 1/4 page advert in the program + big screen advertising. Maybe we should have a collection so that it doesn't need to come out of company funds or Neill's pocket?

CS - unfortunately the captions associated with that fast-build railway station turned out to be untrue. It wasn't built in the time stated, merely upgraded apparently. Still good though ;-)

anley - that sounds about right, give or take. With China's command-and-control economy - and the threat of camps for dissenters - if the government wants battery/composites/EV/whatever companies in the graphene valley, then that's where they'll go. And from that video of constructing a railway station we know how fast the Chinese *can* move, when they want to.

a massive problem with fake graphene, so called graphene companies claiming they produce graphene when in fact it is graphite

"It is alarming to uncover that producers are labelling black powders as graphene and selling them for top dollar, while in reality, they contain mostly cheap graphite"

"If an offer came in however it would at least re-rate us before it was rejected."

exactly. I'd love to see some takeover offers come in, but I wouldn't love them to be successful. A takeover approach or two would re-rate the share price to where it should be (IMO double or treble where we are now) and put VRS onto many many more radars than it appears to be on at the moment. And in an ideal world while the approach was in play the serious multi-T orders would start dropping so that even when the bidder went away the share price didn't suffer.

Nothing really new in the Vox Podcast except NR says that the current Chinese proposition is "expensive and a complicated plan".

So this brings into play the Hong Kong company set up for possible JV with China (and now others). Next comes all the sign offs needed ......... VRS on the structure right through to the Chinese government and currency controls so do we all think that this can be put in place before the end of 2018?

My estimate is by the VRS year end March 2019.

Others may have their ideas................

grabster, they clutch at straws and hope that people do not see through their tripe and fatuous comments which are riddled with lies, falsehoods and distortions of the facts.

grabster - more fool NR for not just blocking them and have done with it. *I've* blocked *him* because I'm not interested in any more words, I'm interested in hard news of actual delivery. Although the news the past few weeks has been excellent, the simple fact is that despite months of frantic activity all they have to show for it is one 1Kg order. And yes, I know that's just a precursor to greater things, but when? See my post above about takeovers...

They would have to offer a lot Ian considering the makeup of the shareholder base. It won't be instis turning a fast buck. If an offer came in however it would at least re-rate us before it was rejected.

From Twitter and here it does sound like the detractors are getting nastier and nastier in their personal attacks. I guess that's the last resort for those bitter at losing the argument - and kind of confirms that they know they have.

Shame on them. (Pity they don't have any sense of shame themselves; but that sort generally don't of course)

@Club don't be daft. Vox podcasts are paid for PR. Any questions Justin asks have be been pre-scripted no doubt. Starting take over rumours is exactly what I'd expect from a stock promoter.

---------------
Interesting that Justin mentioned again (2 podcasts on the trot) about VRS being a takeover target.
